|Rick Valentine||RE: Lemuel Norvell|
John: Wow I just posted his page yesterday!
Thanks for the information I have posted it to his page.
I am not related to Lemuel Norvell, I am a Find-A-Grave volunteer and do work at Fairmount Cemetery. I was asked if I would list pages for unclaimed ashes that are in storage at Fairmount, 824 of them. They were hoping maybe someone would find relatives missing ashes and claim them.
Some of the unclaimed ashes were delivered by Funeral Homes and never claimed, others had contracts and the contracts were never paid for.
At any rate his ashes are un-buried and in storage at Fairmount.
I also checked the Fairmount records for Helen Zook Norvell, she is not listed at Fairmount.
I also checked the Washington State records for a death or marriage record for her (just in case she remarried). Their are no death or marriage records for her.
I did find a California death record for Lemuel Norvell and posted it to his memorial page.
If I can help you with something else let me know...

There must have been a glitch in the system tonight, because I got three of your edits 10 times each, so if you get 30 notifications back that I approved something, must been part of that glitch.

I haven't been able to find an exact burial location for her. Her obituaries only indicate memorial services so possible that her remains may be with family. She died in Yakima, Washington in 2006. Her husband Jesse R Norvell is buried in the Terrace Heights Memorial Park at Yakima, Yakima County, Washington and is Find A Grave Memorial# 25680656, so maybe she is buried in that cemetery.

In going back over memorial pages at Fairmount Cemetery, I see you have Clifton Norvell's page and wondered if you would like to also have Angie Norvell's page. I know we sent messages quite some time ago but forgot what you said about her page or did I forget to transfer it to you? Be glad to do that - please let me know. Found her obituary and added that to her page and linked her parents. Ruth

I would very very much appreicate some information on this dear lady - I think she might be my grandfather's mother. My grandfather was born in 1914 and his momma - Myrtle - died in 1918. 1. I have a ordered and have just received a certified copy of Myrtle's death certificate from Missouri - and on this document her mothers name is stated as Laura Stewart not Mary Almeda Reding. Can someone confirm who is Myrtle's mother. 2. Also on this death certificate dated 1918 it says Myrtle's marital status is "D" - for divorced and she died in Joplin. However the Arkansas 1910 census shows that Myrtle was living with her Father Alexander Norvell along with her 3 little daughters and she was M for married - while Albert Pierson Seamans was living in Joplin with his mother Sarah Elizabeth Seamans in the 1910 Missouri census. I am not clear what happened with Myrtle and Albert between 1910-1918, their martial status and the 1914 birth of my grandfather.

I have transferred the family over to you. I'm always happy to transfer so please don't hesitate to ask.
Take care and have a wonderful day. Thank you for your service to our country. My husband served in Vietnam and has Agent Orange related cancer, so I know firsthand the sacrifices our veterans have made. God bless you, Sir.

Take care and have a good weekend!
