Margaret Cook
To let all researching Margaret Cook know where I got my information. She is the daughter of Marcus and Delilah Schell. Her birthdate and parents' names were found on Margaret's baptismal record found on-line. For many years I had used the tombstone dates to calculate her birthdate until Margaret's adult baptismal was found by googling her name and Lemonville ON. Hope this helps.

Margaret Cook nee Schell born August 17 1800 died Dec 12 1878.

Many of her children and grand children are also buried at the Stamford Cemetery in Niagara Falls, ON., Canada and can be located via the memorials directory on the aforementioned website.

I was wondering if you had any pictures of memorial #70002704 for the French family. Either Barzilla or Enoch or surrounding family members/headstones? Are they part of your family tree? Would love to exchange research information if they are! Thanks for any help you can provide.

Wrong cemetery?
Regarding Pvt Upton McClain, mem #28226560 in Bingham Cem., Monroe Co, Michigan, government records show he was born 2 Apr 1827, died 12 Mar 1907; served in the 180th Ohio Infantry, Co I and is interred in Trinity Lutheran Cem., 824 E. 4th St, Monroe, MI.
Can you clarify?

James B. Manwaring, Lulu Cemetery
Mr. Lemon:

I wonder if you could help me.I would greatly appreciate it.

On Celinda Higgins Manwaring obituary on your memorial on Find a Grave, you state that her husband James B. Manwaring is the son of Giles Manwaring. I have a copy of James death certificate and it states on this that his father was Peter Charles Manwaring (1786-1855).

James and Celinda are buried in the Lulu Cemetery in Ida, Monroe, Michigan near my g-g-grandfather David Manwarren.

We have never been able to establish the parents of David Manwarren. His death certificate does not list father or mother.

I believe that James and David were very possibly cousins, or, possibly, nephew and uncle. We know that David was born in New York but do not know for certain which town or county.

Would you mind telling what proof you have that James B. is the son of Giles? (I'm not being rude. I am just terribly confused by this whole sistuation). I know that there were some strong family arguments at the time and much of the information which we find is not true.

Any help at all that you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Verl L. Manwarren

Hi James,
I was wondering if you have photos of the headstones for the Bennett family in Sheffield Cemetery. Charles and Amanda were my 3G-grandparents and Josiah and Elizabeth were my 4G.
Thank you,

Sorry, I didn't leave his memorial number in the previous message: # 71575560

Howard Syers Tompkins
Howard was the first husband of Mary Martha Lucinda Wilson Tompkins Lemon. I've found your memorial for him in the Oakwood Cemetery in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, but can't find any death records for him. I'm documenting Martha and John Clayton Lemon who married in Canada, lived in Pontiac, Michigan, and moved to and then died in California. Any information you can give me on your source for Howard's death would be greatly appreciated. We've been in contact before about these pesky Lemons. :)
