Hello, I'm also related to Jesse H. Dail, I've also been researching the family trying to find out as much information as I can. Would like to share any information that we can find.

Herman Green Dail
Hello Theresa,

Now that Virginia has death certificates on line I looked up Herman Green Dail to see where he was buried. Seems he was cremated and was not buried according to his death certificate. His wife (at the time of his death)Clara is listed with the last name Sherman. You might have already had that but I did not. Lots of research to do now that the Virginia records are on line.

RE: Herman Glenn Dail 119301014
I have Dail family in Greene and I'm working on researching all the Dail line, but I actually haven't found how I link to the Herman Dail line. No doubt we are all from the same lineage, but the connection must go back more generations than I can link together. I just ran across the index for his obit right here where I live and it caught my attention. I am on vacation next week so I thought I would take a trip to the library (just around the corner). They have the newspaper on microfilm that has Herman's obit. I will send you a copy.

Herman Glenn Dail 119301014
Hello. I am a Dail researcher also and I saw your posting for Herman Glenn Dail # 119301014. If this is the same Herman Glenn, I have him last living in Yorktown Virginia (where I live). His record of birth lists him as Herman Green Dail but with the same parents (Jessie and Bessie) and DOB 12/6/1910 Greene County, NC. I need to run over to the local library and check out the newspaper where his obit was printed May 30, 1985 when he died. His last social security check was sent to Yorktown so he probably died here. Maybe this will tell us where he was buried.

Hello I do not mind transfer, but please do use edit button because I do not really have much time look for memorials and then click on your memorial soo easier for me that way if you can just use edit button on your ancestors and I will be happy to do transfer :) thank you :) I do love to put graves with their families as long as they are not my relatives :)

RE: Dean Dail
I'm related to a lot of folks in that cemetery, Cora Outlaw is my great great grandmother. She is the granddaughter of Capt. James Outlaw.

As to Dean Dail specifically I only collected that one when I was mapping the cemetery. I'm not sure if I'm directly related to him/you or not. I've transferred ownership to you. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have a family tree on if you'd like to to exchange info. I inherited a lot of info (no docs) on the Outlaw/Becton side of my family.

I come from his wife Dollie's side of the family, Dollie's Mother Mary Maud, or Maud as she was known, was a Holliday until she married a Kinder, this goes way back, maud Kinder's dad was Abraham Lincoln Holliday, and Abraham Lincoln and my Great Grandmother, Grace Maude Holliday (Holloway) was Brother and Sister, and there Mom and Dad was Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday, they are all on my Find A Grave pages, and they tell the story of our family, and with Picture's.
