|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Sgt Kenneth E. Brady|
Kenneth E. Brady was a sergeant in 1st Platoon, Company H, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He was killed by tankfire on 13 July 1943 (other source mention 10 July 1943) near Niscemi, Sicily.
Sergeant Brady was first buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery (Sicily) in grave F-66-790.
After the war his remains were reptariated and buried in the Cedar Park Cemetery in Calumet, Illinois.
Please add this additional information to his records and pleaser change US AirForce into 82nd Airborne Division
I am writing a book about the temporary American GELA Cemetery and hope to finish it this year

I noticed your photo request and offer the following suggestion. There is already a very nice photo posted to his wife's memorial. Why don't you just ask the photo volunteer to post it to his memorial, as well?
(I have many relatives in Middle Creek. You can see that most of the existing photo requests for Middle Creek are mine.)

I added Mr. Warnock's birth information, but I don't think the marriage year for Nancy and him is correct. He died in 1869. I think they were married back in Indiana. At least that is where my g-granduncle David Dickson Warnock (their son) was born.

Susan, My husband and I have driven by this
property and can see nothing but farmland. If there used to be markers in the corner of the field, we cannot see them now. They could have been moved or could still be on the private property that we could not see. I would suggest you might try to contact the property owner. In 1986 it was listed as Harold Bergman. If that has no luck, maybe the Township trustee could help or the Mercer County Genealogy Society. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the added information on the Watts and Robinson families in Parowan and Paragonah. I have added links and the information you provided when a link was not available.
The photos you posted are outstanding! Thanks for helping us see a bit into the lives of the people who settled here!

The picture shows the stone has had some bad damage over the years, but it was lovingly repaired by a gentleman who cared for the cemetery until his death. The cemetery is still cared for, though some of the markers are beyond repair. I am glad to have been able to record this stone for you.
