I sent you two invitations to my Raifsnider Family trees on

One is people I linked to my tree, and the other is misc. Raifsniders I find on the way to prevent me duplicating my efforts.

I noticed that you have several Raifsnider's in your memorials. Are these people in your family tree? If so I am tracing this lineage as well, but have not linked with the people you have on F.A.G. Maybe we can exchange information.

I have private trees on One of people I have linked and the other of miscellenous Raifsnider (and various spellings) I find in my searchs.

Hopefully we can help each other out.

RE: Betty Corrao
I have some info for you, just got back from Calvary, I could not find a stone for Rosa but I have her location and took pictures and I found some other Carrao's right across the road in Section 5. I will e mail them to you. I hope it helps.

RE: Betty Corrao
Yes I did get the note, thank you. I understand about the pictures, I recently ran across info for my grandmother ( mom's mom ) and I cannot tell you how happy I was to finally locate her resting place, it's in PA, but I did not have her info when I was there a few weeks ago, luckily I did get alot of photos on my Dad's side, that's what made me start doing the pictures for others, it meant so much to me that I wanted to be able to do it for others.

RE: Betty Corrao

I have added Rosa to my list with Betty and I will make a point of going to the office early next week and see if they can pinpoint Betty for me, I should be ok with Rosa. Partially the problem may be that Calvary is a huge cemetary. It actually is in two cities, Cleveland and Garfield Hts which is where I live. I am hoping to have more for you soon!

Betty Corrao

I tried to find Betty and had no luck at all. I looked through the section and I will have to say there are a few stones almost totally covered and I could not get some clear enough to read but I did find a Grace Corrao and I took a pictue assuming you may want it.Please advise and I will send to you. My father is buried in that cemetary so I will have occasion to go back and I will see what I can find for Betty the next time I go and the office is open.

Billy Eugene Slabaugh!
You know, Becky, just a quick followup to my
previous message, I find it completely astounding
that you have a Billy Eugene Slabaugh on your side
of the family and my brothers name is Billy Eugene
Slabaugh!! My mother tells me that is entirely a
coincidence because she named my brother after her
two brothers on the Carl side. She did not even
know of YOUR Billy Eugene!! Strange or what!!

RE: Wilson & Amanda Slabaugh
Hi Becky,

My Grandfather was Woodie Slabaugh brother of
YOUR Grandfather Nobel. My father was Ernest
Slabaugh son of Woodie. I actually live in
Nappanee and have ALL my life. Unfortunately,
there have been some recent deaths in my family
and I have been attending funerals and hanging
out in cemeteries (way to much!). After looking
up some info on the net, I ran across this site
and here we are! As you might have noticed, I
have added some information to the Slabaugh Family
line on the site. I intend to go around to the
local cemeteries and take pictures of everything
I know about these people and update this info
as time goes along. You might want to check-in
with progress of these updates ever so often! I
am "rapidly" becoming an expert (at least) on the
Slabaugh side of things. So if your EVER around
Nappanee, be sure and let me know and I will give
you the 50cent tour of everything I discover!
Stay in touch!!! ~mike~

Grandpa Noble Slabaugh?
After doing a little bit of checking around, it
occurs to me that you must be Nobel Slabaugh's
Granddaughter(?)!! If that is so, our Grandpa's
were brothers!! How bout that. Imagine the big
grin on THEIR faces if they had ANY idea how this
is being accomplished!! Feel free to contact me
at any time either through this site OR regular
email. My dad (Ernie) always told me we had
relatives in Mishawaka and one of them was a
policeman. That must have been your dad! Its to
bad I never got the chance to meet any of you folks.
Being Slabaugh's, I already know you are VERY nice
and WELL mannered! (ha)(ha) Take care.........

Wilson & Amanda Slabaugh
Hi Becky,

My name is Mike Slabaugh. My GREAT Grandparents are
Wilson & Amanda Slabaugh. I was just curious as to your connection (if any) to these people? I thought I was probably the only one on the planet with a picture such as the one you have posted!! I would be interested in anything you can contribute to this matter. Thanks in advance! ~mike~
