I don't have any way to find out this information. I don't know if they want someone to clear the date better or what.

I am in AZ and guess what I broke my ankle a couple of weeks ago. I am haveing trouble sitting at the computer very long. I will be so glad to get out of this cast and able to do things again.

Mary Candic Penn
Thank you so much for your work in posting photos. I sincerely appreciate it.

Regarding memorial #11664091, the website says Mary Candic Penn died 1 Apr 1857. But this date is clearly different than the information on the gravestone which shows a date of ? 25, 185? (the month and year are illegible, obscured by grass. Can you obtain a accurate date from the gravestone, and update the memorial?

Again, thank you

You are most welcome and for the record, I think you have done a beautiful job recording Holy Cross.
May I ask you to please visit and leave a flower and a WWII vet that I recently added? I was assisted by a man from France who remembered this soldier 68 years ago and posted a breath-taking photo of a soldier who sacrified his life for us and the U.S.

Connie Jaeger
Just want to mention what a wonderful job you did for the memorial for Connie Jaeger, 26087519.
Connie and her family lived next door to my wife when they were both children. Connie was 6 yrs senior to my wife.
The Jaegers were a large family and my wife was an only child. The Jaegers provided the brothers and sisters my wife was lacking. My wife was close friends as an adult with Connie.
We all miss her and her golf cart.

"According to the 1860 census, Castilla was 3 year old. Therefore she was most likely born in 1857, not 1847. Do you have alternate information? Or is the 1847 date a typo?"

Are you able to get a date from the photo of the headstone you took.

Thank you,

Susan

RE: Mapps
Thank you for transferring the Mapps sites to me. I have some distant cousins all descended from them and we are meeting in Cook, NE for a reunion in Sept. We are hoping to learn more about our ancestors. One is from CO, one from KS, one from GA and I'm from NE. Where did you live in NE? Thanks for all your efforts for Find A Grave.

Mapps at Zarley
Thank you for transfering Albert Mapps and Lillie Mapps Williams to my account. Please feel free to transfer all the names on this stone (I believe there are about 16?) to me. I am descended from the Mapps and am currently focusing on Stephen Powell and Isabelle Mapps Powell who left Will County, IL and moved to Nebraska in 1857. William Mapps and Jane Highlands Mapps were Isabelle's parents. Thank you for all the work you do for Find a Grave.
