RE: Sanders and Hannah Waterman
Thanks so much! I really appreciate. I checked your list of Waterman memorials and they are all from the same branch of the family and mostly buried at Confidence Cemetery, which is where both my Waterman grandparents and my paternal grandfather Penny are buried. I would love to have any you would be willing to transfer.

Thank you so much for taking this photo of my grandfathers resting spot. He was killed in action before I was born and I have never been to see in person. I've heard awesome stories of my grandfather and your photo has helped preserve a large memory for me, his great granddaughter and now his newborn great, great grandson. God bless you for your efforts to a complete stranger. RIP PAWPAW HEATH I LOVE YOU!!

Gelter/Mueller/Muller/Miller
I think I gave you most of the information that is needed to complete the odyssey of the Gelter family. I don't really want credit nor do I want the responsibility of maintaining the sites. Thanks, but no thanks.

RE: FAG memorial #158266800 & #158264158
Hi Paula,
The Miller/Mueller/Muller surname has caused the family more than one heated discussion. As stated in my EXTREMELY long and tedious Gelter history, Friederich 'Golter' was born in Hohfroschen 5 Jul 1830 to Friederich Golter and Elisabetha Muller. THIS Friederich married Elisabetha Mueller (Miller)in Hamilton Co., OH 20 May 1854. She was the daughter of Johnnes Mueller and Magdalena Weismann. Magdalena was living with Fredrick and Elisabeth "Gilder" and their 4 children (Elizabeth, Fredrick, Daniel, and George in Newport, KY in the 1860 census.

Friederich Golter/Gelter was born 2 Sep 1795 in Froschen, Germany to Matthias Golter/Gelter and Anna Elisabetha Mattlin. I can no marriage record for him with an Elisabetha Muller; however, I do have documentation for the birth of two sons, Friederich and Christian.

I noticed you used the birth and death records I gave you for Elizabeth Gelter-Nordheim. Thanks for the credit. The rest of the Gelter family history is as follows. Elizabeth Gelter-Nordheim had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Four of the Gelter children (Elizabeth, Fredrick, Daniel, and George) were born in Newport, Campbell, KY. The other five (Leonard, Dorothy, Emma, Lewis, and Jacob) were born in Brown, OH.

1.Elizabeth Gelter (1854-1936) married Charles Nordhiem in 1878 in Brown, OH

2.Fredrick W. Gelter (1855-1947) married Catherine Victoria West in 1882 in Campbell, KY. They are buried in the Lutheran Cemetery at Arnheim, Brown, OH.

3.Daniel Gelter (1857-1948)married Maude Lucinda Pierce in 1884 in Brown, OH. They are supposedly buried in Feesburg, Lewis, Brown, OH.

4. George Gelter (1858-bef2 AUG 1870) died young and never married.

5.Leonard L Gelter (1861-1933) married Eva Norvilla West in 1887 in Brown, OH. Gelter brothers married West sisters. They are buried at the Evans-West Cemetery in Byrd, Brown, OH along with infant children Mary Emelda and William Louis.

6.Dorothy C. Gelter (1863-1959) married Chilton Prine in 1904 in Brown, OH. They are buried at the Linwood Cemetery, Jefferson, Brown, OH.

7.Emma Gelter (1865-1964) never married. She is buried at the Lutheran Cemetery in Brown, OH.

8.Lewis Charles (1869-1936) married Laura Grimes in 1900. They are buried in the Decatur Cemetery in Byrd, Brown, OH.

9.Jacob Albert Gelter (1873-1917) married Luella Morris in 1905 in Brown, OH. They are buried in the Lutheran Cemetery in Brown, OH.

The "immigrant" parents of these children were Friederich Golter and Elisabetha Mueller (Miller). Friederich was born 5 Jul 1830 in Hohfroschen, christened 8 Jul 1830 in Thaleischweiler, Bayern, Germany. His parents were Friederich Golter and Elisabetha Muller. Elisabetha Mueller (Miller) was born 14 Sep 1832 in Waldfischbach, christened on 16 Sep 1832 in Pirmasens, Bayern, Germany. Her parents were Johannes Mueller and Magdalena Weismann.

The 5th child Leonard was my great-grandfather.

Sincerely,
Teresa Gelter-Montgomery

Hi Paula
I don't mind what is done with the individual memorials. I'm just adding what I have to share further family history for others who might just be starting out.

RE: Louis Speeg
Hello Paula, What a kind email. Thank you. Louis Alexander Speeg is my Grandfather. His son Paul Vincent Speeg is my Father. Summer 2013, I found Louis's grave site. My brother Roger and I got a 12"x24" stone for Louis and it was placed in October 2013.

---How are you related to Louis? --

And yes, I would be very pleased to manage Louis Alexander Speeg's Memorial on Find A Grave.

I manage 3 Memorials on Find a Grave. They are from my Mom's side of the family.

Kindly let me know if I need to do anything to make the transfer. Your request is extremely kind and I sincerely appreciate your response.

Thank you & Have a Great Day!
