I'm probably splitting hairs, but my memorial really isn't a dupe in the true sense of the word. I created my memorial directly from the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery burial records. When I did, I used the following search criteria:
I even did a partial last name search using just "Ferg". I do all of this in effort to make sure I don't create a dupe. Never would I have though to search for her under 'Forgason'. I'm pretty sure other Find a Graver's, had they been in my position, wouldn't have thought to search for 'Forgason'. That not a common variation for Ferguson. That's why I take issue a little with the inference of my memorial being a dupe.
As we both know, it is not uncommon for their to be variations to a surname. I try and do as exhaustive a search as I can. Not a perfect system, but you'd be surprised how many times it has saved me from creating a dupe.
I have deleted my memorial however. I'm not into numbers or any other game. I just want the data to be accurate.

You said, "All I asked is that you two figure out who is correct. If someone had a duplicate of one of my memorials I would be contacting them to resolve it. Sorry it upset you but I just wanted to know which one is correct. SLW"
Me upset??? (Never.) Repeating: it's (as I said), simply not my problem to resolve...

You said, "I sent you this message on 11 Feb 2015, but there has been no resolution yet. Could you please figure it out: This appears to be the same man with memorials in two different cemeteries. Maybe you could contact the other creator of a memorial and figure this out? Created by: Pastor G F Hilliker Record added: Jul 14, 2011, Find A Grave Memorial# 73362721. Thanks for figuring this out for those of us that do not live near there, SLW"
1) While my 2x-G-Grand Parents are buried in "Diamond Grove" (as well as many cousins), and while I have been there, in-person - make no presumptions about proximity. I live in Wisconsin (270 miles to the north, is not "near")!
2) The memorial you've cited isn't my entry.
3) My entry [Find A Grave #78856297] in "Diamond Grove", is based upon the official cemetery records.
With all due respect, the problem is NOT mine to resolve. Moreover, there is every reason to believe that my entry is correct! The grave is listed as being in, Diamond Grove, Section: D-PF.

I got your edit to change Gassie's name to Gussie. Do you have any reason to believe that Gussie is the correct spelling? The only records I came across of her were the 1900 census and her death certificate. It is hard to read, but the second letter of her name on the certificate is an "a." The 1900 census lists her aS Gasea, which is probably closer to her actual name, whatever it was.

After telling you quite some time ago that I would make photos of the Sullivan cemetery in Macon County, I was finally able to do that this afternoon. I have posted them on find a grave but the photos of the cemetery itself, haven't been posted yet.

|Rhonda Hammer||RE: Alice E. Orcutt McNeal|
I have removed the biographical information from Alice Orcutt McNeal's memorial, since there is a marriage date dispute. I suspect the 1941 marriage was indicated from the records in Siskiyou County office, but I only have the indexed information.
I am not related to Alice and would be happy to transfer the memorial page to you as a relative.
Please let me know if you would like this and send a message with your find-a-grave ID number.

I have a puzzle I need you to help me solve please. You have posted a Jesse Taylor Graves b. 9 June 1887 d. 31 Jan 1967 buried next to a spouse, Mollie Yates Birdwell b. 1888 d. 1940 in the Hopewell Cemetery, Robertson Co., TN. No pictures of stones.
I have found on Find A Grave in the Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery at White House, Sumner Co., TN
J. Taylor Graves b, 9 June 1887 d. 31 Jan 1967 buried next to spouse Addie May Kelly Graves b. 28 July 1898 d. 27 April 1971. There are pictures of these stones.
It seems highly unlikely that there would be two guys with the same birth and death dates.
Thank you for all your help.

Hi I am a descendant of the Mantlo Family. Maybe by some chance you actually knew some of them personally. My Mother always said her Grandmother was indian Rosa Lee Mantlo of Elkton KY. Her Dad was Richard Randolph Salmon. I have traced them back to Red River area and Virginia. It stops there. No one seems to have any information past James Mantlo the 1st. I would love any first hand knowledge you may have.

I understand you are a descendant of Milton Jasper Adams. I was told long ago, that the descendants of Milton had the Adams family Bible and photos.
If that is correct or you know who in your family has them, I would like to exchange Adams information with you. Thank you. Donna Adams

Hello! I was wondering if you would delete your photos of the headstone of my grandparents? You turned them over to me a while back and I have since updated their headstone picture since my grandmother's death. I wanted to add more pictures, but as you know, I can only add a certain amount.

Thank you for asking to edit the memorial of Henry Oscar Gorham. It has been accepted. I did not include the information from ancestry.com. the information was there before the memorials at North Powder Cemetery were transferred to me. i do not have any documents for this memorial. I added the obituary to the bio section above the other information. I hate to delete the other information because I did not add it. I hope that this is beneficial. Thank you for sharing the correct middle name. Have a great week and enjoy the end of the fall season.

I have an assignment for you if you are interested and even better if you are a relation of Lewis Johnson Briggs.
I am in the process of photographing the stones at Greenbrier Cemetery and have come across additional Briggs stones.
One in Particular is Susan (wife of L.J.?)
It is hard to discern if it does say LJ.
There are several infants born to LJ (?) and Susan, according to inscriptions on the stones.
My curiosity is killing me.
Could Susan have been a first wife to L.J.?
For quick access L.J's memorial number is 57353109.
I would love to hear what you learn.
