If I remember correctly, I got the information from the cem office for a family member. That's where the middle name and incorrect dates came from. I do not remember who contacted me. I believe the person was from the Hale family. They were trying to determine if Daniel's wife was actually buried in the plot or not. I found out she was cremated. Some of the cem staff is very helpful - some are a royal pain! I worked in that cem (there are actually 2 cems) for 2 years (20,000+ memorials). The early funeral home records are online but wouldn't you know 1930 is missing! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

RE: Margaret Seem
Hi, Terry...
It's been so long that I forgot that I wrote, LOL, but thanks for the edits and thanks for the tip on the Ancestry records ... I believe those are new and they are wonderful! There were already some records that I had discovered via Google but these appear to be more complete.

However we have a mystery. It turns out that I did photograph Margaret's memorial stone and it has the dates 1773 and 1835 on it. I can't make out all of the text but it appears those are birth and death dates. On the other hand, the only Margaret Seem on the lists shows the dates of birth and death that you've entered onto this memorial. I think more research may be needed!

I see the double post of George Seem was by the same woman ... I may point that out to her. :-)

Best wishes, and if either of us solves the mystery, lets contact each other. Meanwhile, you might want to revert to the info that appears to actually be on this stone? Perhaps add a memorial to the Margaret we know is born there?

If you like I can send a photo of the enhanced gravestone that I have.

Best,
Ellen

Terry,

Thanks very much for going out again for a picture of Jeremiah and Viola's new headstone. This is above and beyond.
