RE: Rowena Shinn
James it is my pleasure to transfer the memorials of Louie and Rowena Shinn to you. Whatever you decide to do with Rowena's memorial is completely up to you. Thank you for your help to correct these memorials.
Thanks again, John A. Gonsalves

RE: Rowena Shinn
James, I am so very sorry and embarrassed to have made such an error. I do the majority of my research on and I had that death date documented there, although it was not sourced and I am not sure where the information came from. I pride myself in accuracy when dealing with the memorials and I have corrected the memorial as well as the incorrect data in my database. These appear to be your aunt and uncle. If you wish I can transfer them to you or remove Rowena's memorial completely. Please advise and again I am truly sorry for the error.
John G.

James-thank you so much for the information you mailed me!! I would like to point out that his birthdate is 1/21/1942. not 1943. Other than that it was nice to get some info on his side of the family.
Thanks again!!

Do you have anything to document this or is this just your best guess. There are other researchers who have the same information I have and I can't just go changing because one person tells me something.

Nancy Draper
Liberty Macy Jones
Mr. McDowell, I saw your message on the web about Liberty and his wife Isabelle Elizabeth Lyon. Liberty was father of my husband's greatgrandfather Edwin Alpheus Jones. I've not been able to find a death date for Liberty but did find graves for his parents Moses and Eunice.
I'm working on and have searched. So far I've found a second wife with children Daniel and Adrien. I am now totally confused. Can you help?
Edwin A Jones married Georgia Lee Collins and their daughter Maybelle Gertrude Jones was my husband's mother.
I have the Jones family back to 1713 and Richard. I would appreciate any information you can share. Thank you,

Nancy Draper, Maybelle's daughter-in-law.

Before you go adding people to this cemetery the courteous move would be to make sure they aren't already added.

DL Jones
Lyon family of Kansas
Thank You, Mr. McDowell for the history of your ancestors. I had wondered for some years who were the parents of my great grandfather, Daniel Henry Jones's older brother, Liberty Macy Jones's first wife, Isabell(a) R. (Lyon) and had two boys, Edward and Adrian Jones. Her parents were Wesley and Zeruah (Conway?) Lyon. They were all from Morris/Chase Co., KS. Isabell's older sister, Elizabeth Amanda (Lyon) married Paul Fisher Welker and ended up moving to Idaho, near to where my cousin lives in Lewiston. I e mailed my cousin; and, she was familiar with the Wessel, Welker and Shinn family names. I just don't know what happened to Elizabeth (Lyon) Welker's nephews, Edward/Eddie/Edwin and Adrian/Adrien Jones, and her brother-in-law, Liberty Macy Jones. Edward, Adrian and Liberty were all descended from John Howland, Elizabeth Tilley and M/M John Tilley of the Mayflower, 1620.
