Esther Daniel photo request
Do you have a burial location for Esther? If not the volunteers will need for you to call the cemetery and get the location. They do not give findagrave volunteers burial locations but if you call they should give it to you.
Their number is 214 363 5401. Just place the burial location in the plot field which can only be edited when the online memorial is in regular view mode and not the edit mode. This is done below the data fields for burial location.
thanks!
I can photograph the grave within a few days with a location.

RE: John Carl Spangler Tombstone Picture
I just created a memorial for Emelia Spangler. I also posted a picture of her marker. Unfortunately, the inscription is hard to read - background and inscription are almost the same color.

RE: John Carl Spangler Tombstone Picture
Hi Ken,
I contacted Rose City Cemetery and got a reply back. Yes, Emilia Spangler is also buried at Rose City. I will drive back over there in the next couple of days and take a picture of her grave marker.

Location
If you know the location of the cemetery, I will try to find it and take the pic you requested. I do not find Hasty among the listed cemeteries.

Thank you,

Evergreen Photos
Ken, once again, thank you so much for getting the photos for me at Evergreen. I was so glad to get the pictures of John and Virginia Farris. But the one of Lelia Strickland Olsen was a real "find" for me. As you can see from the inscription on her stone, her husband Herman Olsen was a sea captain who was lost at sea in 1945 and we were not even sure where Lelia was buried. Just when I think I have located all my relatives who are buried in Evergreen, I continue to find more.

Boss' in Evergreen
Ken

Thank you so much for the photos of the Boss' in Evergreen Cemetery. I was unable to request a photo of Virgina Boss Steele and William Cooper Steele when I made the other requests because I ran into my weekly limit - did you happen to see any of them when you were there? I will be making the requests when my week is up.

Thank you again.

Evergreen Photos
Ken, thank you so very much for taking the time to go to Evergreen. I have been there once and it is such a very large cemetery it took me several hours just to find one or two graves. You said you could not find Henry Marshal Read. Don't make a special trip back there, but if you ever happen to be back at Evergreen, try looking in 14-17. He should be buried close to Oma Turley Whitten Read, his wife. I don't understand the numbering system and am grateful for any you were able to find. Many thanks again!! B

Thanks Ken...
Hey Ken,

I'd just like to thank you for participating as well as taking and adding these excellent pictures of the headstone of my great grandparents George and Ivy Watson. Although I wasn't quite familiar with these two beings one had passed away years before my time and the other just a couple of years after my birth. But from what I know is that George originally died in Delta Co. and was also buried there in a small cemetery in a rural area, but was latter relocated to a more dense area there in Lamar Co. along with his wife. Both were farmers as well as being somehow involved in the medical field, Ivy was a nurse and even years after the death of George, she never remarried. Ivy outlived two of her own children, including my grandmother Erma who went just eight years prior to her mother. George and Ivy's children were: Erma, Milton, George Jr., Gabe and Betty who's still living, but now lives in New Mexico. My grandmother Erma went on to be a mother of fifteen children and God knows how many grandchildren, lol:)

GOD BLESS,
Jerome Upton

Ken,
I'm planning on going to Sulphur Bluff this morning. My family came from there and some are buried in the Sulphur Bluff Cemetery. I am looking for stories about the community or families from there. BG
