|William Brackett||Matilda E. Jenkins|
May I ask where you got Matilda's maiden name. I have researched this Quick family of Berrien County, MI for several years. Matilda appears in the 1870 census of Berrien County in the household of George W. and Catherine Lake. Catherine was married to John Quick, prior to marrying George Lake, but John had died in 1856. Matilda was not born until about 1863.

Thank you for your reply. I'll have to dig around some more, and see what I can discover. I am just curious how he ended up in their plot.

I see that you created a memorial for Daniel J. Schaublin. According to cemetery office he is buried in a lot owned by one of my relatives. Both of their graves are unamarked (Martha Koening and William Chidsey. A mother and son.). The office indicates that the lot was owned by Martha Koenig, and bought the three graves in 1900. Do you have any additional information regarding Daniel?

Hello T. McGuire,
I'm interested in the Joseph and Ellen Nolan O'Leary family at Mt Carmel, Hillside, Chicago. Are you related? Joseph died 1916 or 1918 and Ellen died 1923. Thanks,

|Rose Lemus||Powers/Brennan Memorials|
We corresponded quite some time ago about Anastasia "Stasia" Brennan Powers' memorial. I just wanted to let you know that although you have not requested a photo of her grave, I did go to Mt. Olivet and look for her but she does not have a headstone. I know for sure that little Maurice (her son) has a headstone but I just could not locate it. I will be going back after I am able to go to the office and double check their locations. Also, I attempted to find Michael and Anna Walsh Brennan's gravesite but was unsuccessful as well. I hope this is okay for me to do. These are my family members and I really appreciate your memorial to them so I just want to contribute to your hard work.
Thanks for all you do,

|lois baker||HALL CEMETERY|
Hi, sorry for the mistake. I do know the history of Mary. Mike Jones of
the J.A. Logan Museum here is Murphysboro has taken a special interest in
this stone. He had it stored in the Museum for years before I ever tried to
rescue the stones from the Hall cemetery area. There are many stones we
were not able to find , and I am sorry for that, but we did the best we
could. Many are buried deep under the ground in the original cemetery area
which I think we can never get back in to search again.
Hope I don't make any more mistakes......keep an eye on me. :):)

|So Little Time||Patrick Reilly|
I stopped by the cemetery today to check again in this section for Patrick Reilly. This entire section was photographed with no marker found for Patrick Reilly.
Today I took additional pictures for you which may help in your research. On each side of Ann Reilly's grave are the Daugherty's. They are most likely related, notice the same style of marker. Michael is on the left and Barbara on the right.
You might want to contact the cemetery office during the week (leave a message as they are not there much in the winter) & they will be glad to check for Patrick's grave. As you can see there is room to the left of Michael so you may get lucky and find additional family members.
Good luck to you and have a nice weekend.

There is one headstone in the Hoxie plot at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago that does not have a Memorial page. If you would like to create a Memorial page and request a photo I'll attach the photos I have. -- TeCoa
