Glasser William
I am sure you've seen the 1870 and 1880 census for a William Glasser and wife Catherine. Is this the brother perhaps? He and his son Louis were both "coal diggers". I've even found name spelled Glosser on some records. I think their son Louis may actually be named Ludwig? But there is a findagrave for him in Minnesota. Can't seem to find William or Catherine after 1880, can you?

no I am not related to this family/families and it was most challenging to determine which one spelled Glaser vs Glasser. The only way I know for sure is if someone finds their grave and posts a photo. I presume you sent a message to Cathrine's memorial contributor with all the info about her marriages, etc. Do you know what happened to her brother Wilhelm? thanks

RE: Henry Bendinger #157444267
Terry, I am related only by marriages. I looked at the City Directories as well. I am not 100% sure
he died before 1914. I have come across other families where the wife was abandoned and she was listed as a widow. Not to say that this is the case for Mr Hagedorn just a possibility. I was at the Family History looking up the burials of Hagedorns at Wanderers Rest/Lincoln Memorial and have added memorials for all of them. Considering
all of the family members buried there it seems strange that Emma's husband isn't among them. I will try the Milwaukee Public Library to see if William shows up in the Milwaukee County Death Index through 1916.

Emma is buried at Wisconsin Memorial Park. I have no idea where William is buried. I do not believe he is at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. I do not even know for sure where and when William died.

Terry, I have no idea what date or paper this obit came from, we get all the clippings from the historical society in Cedarburg and ad them to our memorials. Your best bet is to contact the Historical for help.

Her tombstone is next to put up. They weren't very hard to find since they are 3 lots from my 2nd great grandparent on my father side. Like my 2nd great grandparent's not everyone have a tombstone.

RE: Snater
I will get those posted. I was back there today and could not find a Sara Snater. There is a Maybelle B Snater, wife of Arnold that you can set up as well. Nov 11 1896 - Nov 3 1979.

Hi Terry: The requests you have made for the Snater's at Pleasant Hill Cemetery should be posted under Pleasant Hill-Grant Township. I have pictures of all except Sarah and will check for that the next time I am there, perhaps yet today. So, if you want to put their memorials under Grant Township I will post the photos. It is still in Franklin County.

If I don't hear from you, I will post the memorials myself and transfer to you.

RE: Obedience Miles Curtis Memorial #68296826
Thanks for connecting. I really don't know much about Obedience, other than she was a sister to my 4th great grandmother Betsey (Miles) Foster. And she is buried next to Betsey. She is listed on the 1850 census in Cazenovia, Madison Co., NY with David(husband?) and Ransom Curtis (son?). I don't think she had children with Curtis, if since Ransom was born in Vermont. Ransom as a memorial# 115144524 with a different mother (Lucy Bennett). So her being married first to Benjamin Chaplin is very possible. Also the son of Betsey being Chaplin B. Foster... I've seen a lot of first names in the family using surnames if siblings and uncles. Do you have anything on Benjamin Chaplin's family?
