|Van Bender||RE: wrong photos|
Hi Shirley -
I see where I have the wrong tomb in the photos. It appears a Find-A-Grave user (Maureen Enstice #47507066) has the correct photo. Please contact her for permission to use her photo and will delete the photos I've posted.

Hi Shirley -
Please help me understand how I can help. The tomb in the photos is located in Metairie Cemetery.

Dear Ms. Shirley, I made an edit change that you hopefully received per Philip Werlein. One 'l' in Philip. I was also going to ask you to transfer his memorial to me, however, I don't see the transfer link on his page. He was my long time boyfriend's father. They are both buried in this plot. TY so very much for adding him. Maureen

Shirley, Thanks so much for your wonderful Historic writings about your Heroic Family and the Conyers area of Georgia. My 4th Gr- Grandfather Joshua Marbut is also buried in the old Conyers Cemetery and is considered to be the oldest grave there. He was a War of 1812 Veteran.
Many dozens, upon dozens of His Grandson's fought for the CSA. You probably know the name. The Marbut Families along with many other old Atlanta families help rebuild that part of Georgia, after the Destruction of Our Beautiful State in 1864.
I am Proud to say:
One of my Gr-Grandfather's was a Confederate Dr. In Macon, 1864. My other Seven Gr-Grandfather's fought with The CSA.
God Bless You, Dear Lady. Cindy West Georgia.

|Churchwell||Marth Almand Harris Edit|
I'm not sure what you are requesting in your edit. It's coming through to me to add "Martha" as a middle name so that on the memorial page it will read "Martha Martha Almand Harris". Please advise.

Hi Shirley, feel free to use any wording on my bio about photos - I just feel so strongly about it. I have to pay for ancestry.com, and there are MY photos stolen from Findagrave. I have been successful in getting a couple of photos removed from family trees on Ancestry.com. Will keep after the others.
Added by Birdgirl on Sep 12, 2014 5:50 PM
Thanks for your comments. If Ancestry.com were free, I just might feel different. I've had photos of my mother's mother copied and posted and I know for a fact that I am the only one who has that photo - it's a tintype!. You are welcome for the obit - on the Newton County GENWEB site there is posted the Dennard family. That's where I found this obit. I have met some very wonderful and special people, like yourself, on Find A Grave and then again, not so nice. Take care.

Please visit memorial #67244144 to see Rev. Almand's grave marker. I photographed it and made a memorial for him, however; I mistyped his last name as Almond. I have made the correction and I would gladly transfer this memorial to you so you can add the links; then you could delete your duplicate memorial. Sorry for the mistake.

I have transfered Rebeca to you. Thanks for the email. Sorry I am not her family. I am always happy to find that someone found a family member because of my posts. Thanks

|ctwardo||RE: Thank you!|
I was referring to the Prairie Grove cemetery, where Toka was buried, on Find A Grave . I spent several days taking pictures and adding memorials to Find A Grave for this cemetery.

Shirley, I made those transfers. If there is anything else I can help you with, obit lookups, etc., feel free to ask. Always happy to help out a fellow DAR ;) Christina

I am not related to Toka. All of my family is in Ohio and Pa. I added her as a part of my goal to get the PG cemetery online. Christina

|Julia Ather||Almands and LaBoons|
Say, Shirley, I have a few more Almand and LaBoon memorials. A lady asked me to take them a while back because she wasn't going to work in FindaGrave any longer, so I did, but I really don't know who they are. They're related somehow to your family, I'm pretty sure. Could I give them to you? You're much more likely to understand how they fit in than I do.

What wonderful display tables for the cemetery--how helpful! That was quite a neat thing for the Almand family to do, and I'm sure anyone visiting the cemetery will appreciate them.

|Julia Ather||William A. Almand family|
Okay, it took me a little while to follow what you wrote. I could find records for the two marriages for Saphronia Almand, and what I didn't expect was that she divorced her first husband and went back to her maiden name. Then everything made sense. I put a link from William to Saphronia as his second wife, but since you have Maggie's memorial, you'll have to link her to her parents. These Almands seem to be your close family though--would you like me to transfer the memorials I have from William Asgail Almand's family to you? I'd be happy to do it. Just let me know.

|Julia Ather||RE: Wm. A. Almand|
Hi, Shirley. What was it that you wanted to talk about? I'm not a relative of William, and I really don't know more about him than what I've written on his memorial, just to let you know.
