I uploaded photos you requested for Herbert Hawley (124417574), etc. They were taken in Jan., 2014 and are extremely poor. I'll replace them once the weather cooperates, but thought you might want to see these in the meantime.

RE: Oak Woods cemetery Chicago
Hello Barbara,

I have no information at all on the Oak Woods Cemetery. The burial information for Samuel Faulkner and Cornelia Everts came from the Illinois Death Records at Ancestry.com.

Chicago is way off my beat. I live in Los Angeles and my genealogy efforts focus primarily in Vermont and Washington Co., NY. I'm not even sure how I got to this couple (they're so far out on one of the branches of my tree), other than that it looks like I was working on the Smiths not the Faulkners.

Sorry to be of no help whatsoever.

Janet

L. Fowles.
Think we are getting closer by talking with the cemetery/Whitefield Historical Society as to info. for Lydia. Another FAGrave member shared advice on extending my search. Was not sure about adding info. on Samuel's memorial, but it clearly says still waiting for conformation before listing a burial location. It was nice to see my 3rd Great Grandmother's name and a little info. for her on my 3rd Great Grandpa's memorial page! Please keep in contact- thank you. :) You mentioned they are your 4th great grandparents?
May I ask which side you are related from?

Lydia Huchins Fowles.
Hello, My 3rd Great Grandfather is Samuel C. Fowles, Memorial# 70582824. I see where you have some Fowles Family listed. Lydia Hutchins was Samuel's wife. She is a mystery other then the information in the bio section for Samuel. Will be checking with the Whitefield Historical Society, there are clues she may be buried in a unmarked grave beside her husband. Could not help but wonder if your research on the Fowles had come this way- Jefferson and/or Whitefield, Maine.
If you would like, please contact me through the correction listing on Samuel's memorial.
Thank you. ~Debra Ann Account#48495444

Question...I went through my notes and found that Mattie's granddaughter also thought that her grandmother's first husband was named Tobe....where did u get that name from....a family member or did u find it online???? I looked high and low on line for a Tobe or Tobias Wootton and never found anything....then when I found Mattie and her tomb stone....I assumed that Joseph L. Wootton was her first husband....maybe Tobe was a nickname???? What do you think?

JOHN CHARLES MANTON
Philip & Maria C. Gagle.
Some of the churchyard records for Saint David's, Myk. were destroyed in a devastating church fire in 1879, so gaps are to be expected. I copied those records surviving and compared them with the city records, adding any missing names that I could, before creating that beautiful record book (restoration) that everyone believes to be the original on Ancestry.com because of its very Victorian-looking handwriting.

However, I did find a "Phillip Gagle" listed in the 1820 Census in Northern Liberties, a section of Philadelphia. Perhaps you have already found this. -- jcm.

Gagle.
Philip Gagle is the only interments recorded in the register for this lot. There is no mention of any interment of Maria C. Gagle or her relationship to Philip, only that she is the lot's original purchaser. -- jcm.

RE: Gagle
The lot in Saint David's P. E. Churchyard, Myk. that Philip Gagle was buried in on 28 January 1851, was originally purchased by Maria C. Gagle. It is Lot No. 167 (Northwest) which, according to the surviving churchyard lot map, is located immediately adjacent to the wall of the West transept of the church building. Lot No. 166 (Heap) is adjacent to the North end of Lot No. 167 and Lot No. 168 (Foster/Wyatt) is on its adjacent South end. There is no date or co-owner's name given in the "Lot Index." Hope this helps. -- jcm.

RE: woottons
I see....Susan and Katheryn Lum were sisters...I am still looking for a better pic of Marion Wootton...I am pretty sure I have one...I have been trying to get a pic of Mattie Wootton Hyde, Charles Thomas Hyde from her granddaughter April Cordts but she is not very cooperative....a busy lawyer and all....w.e....maybe some day??? April's mother was the daughter of Mattie "Stinson" Wootton/Hyde and Charles Thomas Hyde (my greatgrandfather and my mother's grandfather) from what I understand....Charles and Mattie had a candy business in Easton called Hyde's Candy Co (Ferry and West St)...later his son Edward R. Hyde moved the business from Ferry and West St. to Bank and Pine St. where it became Hyde's Restraunt....I need to get down to the Marx Room and see if they can help me get info on this....I keep feeling like I have heard the Samans name at some time in my life....probably at my nana's house....my nana was Sadie Kehs, my aunts were Helen Hughes, Connie Linsman and Charlotte Grimm...any of these names ring a bell to you???? my mom was Patricia "Kehs" Gyarmaty...

Mattie's full name was Martha Susan "Stinson" Wootton/Hyde...Joseph L. was probably her first husband and Charles Hyde (my great-grandfather) was her 2nd husband

If you live in Easton, I believe the Library has a book of internments at Hays.

Does the death certificate say she was buried in Hays? If yes, I would think it is the same person.

I'm pretty sure Joseph L. Wootton was Wilson's father since Mattie is buried with him and my great-grandfather Charles Thomas Hyde is buried with his first wife, Emmaline Racener, my grandmother's parents.

RE: woottons
My grandmother was
Sadie Viola "Hyde" Charles Edward Ricker (1st husband, father of Charlotte Alice and Constance Mae...my aunts) Eugene Frank Kehs (2nd husband, my mother's father).....Sadie's father was Charles Thomas Hyde and Martha Susan (Mattie) "Stinson" Wootton (1st husband) Hyde (2nd husband) Charles Thomas Hyde was Mattie's 2nd husband....Mary Hannah White or as I knew her Marion Wootton was Wilson Joseph Woottons wife....Wilson's parents were Martha Susan Stinson Wootton Hyde and Joseph L. Wootton and they are buried in St. John's Cemetary in Bangor....Joyce Marie "Hyde" Cordts was my grandmothers half sister....their father was Charles Thomas Hyde, my great-grandfather....I imagine since Mattie is buried with Joseph L. Wootton....this must have been Wilson's father???? maybe Tobe was a nick name???? The pic I posted was of Charlotte Alice Ricker, Wilson Joseph Wootton, Mack and Jr. Riey....abt. 1925....Wilson was not a junior....I have a pic of Marion Wootton from my wedding in 1984 but I have yet to scan it....I will do so and post it to her Find A Grave....I never met Wilson her husband because he died in 1964 and I was born in 1963....Marion came to all of our family members weddings, showers and funerals ets....
