You are welcome sorry it took so long but had to wait until it got cold enough to make sure the snakes were gone

It's a beautiful monument. Photographing on an overcast day reduced the reflection. May she rest in peace.

RE: Myrtle Schronce
I have now been through the entirety of Forest Lawn Cemetary taking pictures, and have added many, many memorials and pictures. I did probably miss some (over 4,000 people buried there) and some don's have headstones. You may well have some ancestors there that didn't have memorials before, so take a look. I'll be happy to link or add.

I believe I have a duplicate I need to fix but I need to do some research on it before I do so. It is so easy to duplicate especially when the headstone has a different name.

Hi. I have updated the name and links to parents. If this is your relative, would you like me to transfer the memorial to you?

You know you are welcome.

Did you request the links that were made? I don't think they are correct. Freddie Jr is link to his mother as her spouse. Look at his memorial and tell me what you think.

Augustus Byrd, Jr
Hi Michael, thank you for taking the time to leave flowers and a message for my Uncle Gus, Jr. He was a brother of my Dad and all my life I heard stories about him and about how my Grandparents and siblings suffered through the year he was a POW in Japan, hearing only bits and pieces of his enprisonment. I can't help but think how alone he must have felt so far away from Newton Co, GA and in such horrible conditions and treatment; death surely must have been a blessing. I think of him often and give thanks to his life and sacrifice. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness. Joyce Byrd Slaughter aka Birdgirl

RE: Thank you for the great picture
It must have been meant for you to get the picture. I live in NC and was visiting my family, who live in Oregon. We were driving to Eagle Lake to visit my son in law's grandparents when I saw the cemetery and asked my daughter to stop. I got out and took some random pictures. When I got back to NC, I looked up the cemetery on Find a Grave to see if I could add anyone. I clicked on your photo request and recognized the Scronce name. It really blew my mind that I took that photo and had no idea prior to that it was requested. It was a further surprise that Carroll Joe Scronce had relatives from NC. Glad I could help.

Dear Michael,
I added her mother and father, thanks for letting me know, and let me know if I can be of help on any others.
By the way, Absalom and Leah Miller are my ancestors (3rd great grandparents I believe). I'm surprised there are no pictures of headstones for them. Hopefully somebody can find them.
