You put a "CSA memorial" with his rank & company info on James' memorial page. I just wanted to tell you thank you for doing this! I had some confusion about which military record was his (on Ancestry.com) and was relieved to see this! I also wanted to let you know how professional it looks! Such a great idea to do this!

|Winnette||Re: James Bass|
I have no idea which James this is. Since you have access to the pensions, you should be able to search on familysearch.org and find out which one it is. Sorry I cannot help you. Winn

|John Mallory Land||Memorial #104381111|
Hi - thank you for the information you sent about the application for Confederate widow's pension filed by Mary A. DENHAM in Turner County. I believe you are correct - it appears that George W. DENHAM married twice. Mary married him as a MABRY and I suspect her memorial is #41466774 in Turner County. The name Allen may be her second given name, or perhaps it is her maiden name and she was married first to a MABRY. At any rate, based on the information I have been able to gather, I suspect the date inscribed on George's grave marker as a death date (26 APR 1865) is actually his date of discharge. Mary's application reports that he died in Upson County in August 1900. I have modified the biographical section of his memorial, #104381111. Thanks again for pointing this out. Thank you. I haven't noticed this feature before. I made the edits you asked for. Are you related to Maxie Greene or the Dorsey's? These are both family members of mine.
