John Everett
I wonder if you have the correct birthday for John Everett/ s/o Richard. I notice you have 1650 where I have 1635. John's wife Elizabeth Stevenson was b. 31 Dec 1638. If John was born in 1650 I would think that would be to many years apart for a couple. Thought I better check on this.
Thank you for your time.

Pamela
PA - Anders family
Was appreciative of the grave stone pics of my grandfather, Clarence Joseph Anders, brothers. I was too young to remember any of them. But I do remember his sister, who is not mentioned on the Find a Grave site as a sibling. I'm searching for her, and will keep going. I knew her as Great Aunt Ruby. Learning the ropes here, this is all new this genealogy search. Very interesting to learn about these Germans/Swiss families in PA. Figure we are all cousins, whether Anabaptists, Church of the Brethren, Mennonites, or Amish...probably left out a few there in our Christian families. Thanks.

Heinrich Wolf
Hi,
I was just wondering, what documentation have you found for the death of Heinrich Wolf, memorial #80937952 created by you. Since he is listed under unknown burial, burial at sea, and other, I just wondered if you've found documentation for his death. I mean, obviously he's dead, but I've been searching my Wolf line for many, many years now and can't find absolute proof of a death year. Any information you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated!
Best Regards,
Rita Filler

Photo "move" request
Hello!!
I acquired a memorial for John Dewitt and comes to find out it is a duplicate. You were gracious to post a photo on my memorial, but need to know if you can remove it from mine and place it on the original memorial, so I can delete the duplicate that another Find A Grave volunteer made.

Remove photo from # 64918665
Place on original memorial # 59544278

Thank you!

Please let me know when you have done this so I can delete the memorial.
Have a great weekend.
Megan

Ernst Fricke: Buckley, Illnois
Hi Daryl & Barbara! I really look up to you for researching and posting information about our past loved ones!
I was wondering if Ernst Fricke was in your family tree and if so please disregard this message. Ernst is the 2nd great grandfather of my wife June. We had just put a new gravestone beside his original one this past summer which has humbled June and her family in more ways than you can measure.
I was wondering if Ernst wasn't in your lineage if you would be so kind to transfer management to me so that I can post more information about this family on Find A Grave.
Thank you for a response!
Randy Howard
PS. Please see the new picture and information I had posted with the picture.

Are you related to him?

He is in my family tree as his daughter, Rosa Welt, married Louis Straus who is part of my Morningstar family.

Thank you.

George Seely
Hi Darly and Barbara,

I have transferred some of my Seely memorials to Dee Poole. In doing so, I noticed that I caused you to add George Seely as a duplicate because I had him as being William George Seely. Please delete your memorial. Dee will be adding information as well as correcting his name.

Pleas accept my apology for causing this problem.

You have a memorial for this person in Avalon Cemetery, Santa Catalina Island, California. Can you please let me know what your source is? I walk this cemetery twice a year and have transcribed/photographed all visible markers. This is a very small cemetery and no one can be buried here unless they lived here or have a very strong tie here, such as owning a vacation home, or they attended school here as a child, etc. I was on the grounds last October and I saw no marker or cenotaph for him.

Please point me in the direction of your source.

Thank you.

Frederick Eplin
Find A Grave Memorial# 60460617
He was not the son of John Eplin born in 1802. He was an illegitmate son of Sherrod Adkins and Lydia Lattice Parson who was married to John Epling first and after he died Sherrod took her in and had Susannah who is my ancestor, Rebecca, William, Frederick.
I have the military records of John Epling. I have also gone through the film for West Virginia Notebooks and have that printed off.
Here ia also a copy of Cabell County Heritage on the Eplin(Epling) Families
HISTORY: Cabell County Heritage; US/CAN 975.442 H2c; PG:
EPLIN (EPLING) FAMILIES
The Cabell County Eplin(g)s are descendants of John Paul Epling, probably born in Germay about 1750, and died 1809 in Giles Co., VA. His five sons were named in his will: John, Daniel, Paul, Isaac and Phillip. For some reason, both John's often used the name John Miller. The son John married 3 Nov. 1801 Giles Co. Lydia Parson (parents unknown). John was her guardian. John and Lydia removed to Cabell Co. by 1808, as tenants on the property of Isaac McComas' father (John?) John Epling served in the US Army for six winter months in 1812 under extreme harship and died about 1 May 1813 within weeks of his return home. Lydia was left with five small children according to the pension application she later filed. Identification of these children has been difficult as there are nine Eplins born 1804-1825 who cannot be definitely assigned to anyone else.
Possible children of John & Lydia Epling: 1. Henry Epling born 1804, died after 1872, married in Cabell 21 Jul 1823 Jane Adkins born 1804 died 1878 daughter of Randolph Adkins and Charity Adkins. They had at least these children: *Amsetta, *William, *Randolph, *Lydia, *Rhoda, *John, *Julia, *Namcy, *Polly, *Bazel,
received a land grant 100 acres on Beech Fork 1834. No further record. 3. Sary Epling married in Cabell 24 Jun 1835 Frederick Carter. NFI. 4. John Eplin born 1813 married in Cabell 24 Jan 1834 Julia Ann Parsons born 1817 daughter of William & Susannah Parsons. They moved to Campbell County KY where John died by 1870. They had ten children.
Eplins born after 1813, parentage unknown: 1. Susanna Eplin born 1817 married in Cabell 18 Jan 1838 Bazell Massey. They moved to MN by 1872 and in 1900 Spokane WA with a daughter Margaret Hicks. Ten Massey children. 2. Elizabeth Eplin born 1823 married Cabell 12 Sep 1840 William Elkins. Children: Samuel, Margaret and Wesley. NFI after 1850 Cabell Census. 3. Rebecca Epling born 1824 died after 1880 married Cabell 26 Jul 1838 Vincent Lucas Nine children: *Susan, *Parker, *William, *Delphia, *Edward, *David, *Rebecca, *Vinson, *Irvin. May families in Cabell. 4. William Eplin born 1824 married Susannah (Mays?) living with their only child Melissa Nance in 1900 in Boyd Co. KY. 5. Frederick Eplin born 1825 died by 12 Feb 1858 married Elizabeth Adkins daughter of Sherrod and Sarah Adkins. Five children: Mahala, Sherod, Surilda, Mary , Frederick.
William and Frederick jointly conveyed several parcels of land, and in 1856 inherited all land of Sherrod Adkins Sr. by his 1854 will witnessed by Vincent Lucas and Bazell Massey. Lydia Eplin lived with Frederick's family in 1850 and 1860.
My mother was Ruth Emily 6 Epling (1897-1976): (William5, John4, Paul3, Isaac2, John Paul1 Epling of Giles Co. VA)
