I also feel silly because I took that picture several weeks ago but didn't upload the last few pictures on the camera card until a few days ago. Normally I would have uploaded a requested picture immediately, not several weeks later. I did not see anything confirming the identity. I concluded that the marker was hers because of the exact death date, the fact that it was near other Malones, and the inscription indicating that it was a woman's marker, not a man's.

Hi Randy. I was just looking at the memorial page for Tom Phillips and noticed where you said that William W. Phillips was your great grandfather and was just wondering what your lineage was. William W. was my great great great grandfather. His daughter Arminta married Columbus Johnson and had my great grandfather, Chrystial Marion Johnson. He married McGuffy Boyd and had my grandmother, Eunice Marie. She married Willie Nold and they had my mother. Just seeing how we were related. Thanks! Cody

Randy, I did receive your message on my email from this web connection. Thank you very much and yes, I would like to send you my email so perhaps we could share information. However, this states that I am still on a public message site, and I would only want my email address to go to you. Can you tell me how to do that through this "Find a Grave site"?

|Jacque Brandau||Re: Etheldread Smith Memorial|
I am not sure how this will work if I leave a message, but I saw that this memorial is being maintained by you and that you are researching Smith linage. E.D. Smith and Mary Hanna are my g.g.grandparents and I have hit a wall searching for his parents. So if you happen to have any leads I would appreciate the info if you email. The memorial is very nice, but one son is missing which from the children, my g. grandfather, John William Smith, born 6 Feb. 1851. Thank you for you time. J.B.

|rebekahpaw||RE: Elizabeth L. Neely Markham|
According to the Marion County Cemetery Inscriptions Book, Volume 1, there are no other stones with the name Markham. There is a notation of about 30 graves that are only marked with field stones. It is possible her husband is there and marked only with a stone. I wasn't able to find out which Markham she married. The marriage records for Marion County have been burned several times along with the courthouses. The marriage records that we do have start about 1894 or so. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you. Let me know if you need anything.
