Richard W. Griffith
Hi Rose,

Actually, Richard's paternal Grandmother,Cora Wilson Griffith, was my Grandpa Wilson's older sister so I'm not related to the Ash family -- they must be either his mom's or his grandfather Griffith's side? Oh well, it was stil nice to connect with you!

If you are a descendant of Joseph Ladd, you should consider becoming a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Richard Wayne Griffith
Hi Rose,
I noticed your posting on Richard's memorial and wondering how you're related. His dad was my mom's 1st cousin. I have some wonderful memories of him and his brother from my childhood visits to Fairmont with my family. My husband & I stopped by to visit Gary last time we were back there (many years ago). Does he still live there?

RE: Albert and Rose Lambert
I didn't look at your memorials until I was posting the pix. My husband served in the Navy during Vietnam. We were very honored to be able to take these photos, on Memorial weekend, of the final resting places of a US veteran and his wife for your family.

RE: Max Bourland
This was my second trip trying to find him. We went in December in the snow but didn't find his headstone. It was a beautiful day, and this time he was right where he was suppose to be :-)

I found a similar symbol on a website and I think it is a symbol for the Shriners.

You are very welcome! I am returning to the Garfield Cemetery today to retake William Mooney's stone. For some reason the first one didn't turn out.
