Yes, but obviously Michael Ramsey placed her in the wrong cemetery on this site. It happens all the time. Maybe you can contact him about it, or if you want, I will try.

This is not the first time this has happened to me, in particular, here in Inglewood. It is the biggest cemetery in the area with over 300 acres and over 300,000 burials. Some people just assume their relative is buried there if they were living in the area.

Sorry, that was the best I could do. If the staff tells me twice, and looks extensively for variations of the name and still doesn't find the person, then that person is just not buried there.

Sincerely,
Bonnie

Dave, I tried again and the staff at Inglewood tried every combination of her full name, including the nickname, and they came up with nothing. She is not buried there. Unless there is some other name she was buried under. Although death certificates in this state have a place for "disposition of remains", that is not always accurate, but I suggest you get a copy of her death certificate and see what it says. Are you using an obituary to determine that she is buried in Inglewood? Sometimes they can be wrong, too, as the family might make different plans after the obituary is printed. Also, if she was cremated, be aware that there are 2 different mortuaries with the Inglewood name: Inglewood Mortuary, and Inglewood Cemetery Mortuary.

I will try again for this photo request, but they told me the first time that there was no one there by this name.

It isn't a problem....I always allow people to use the pictures I take. All I ask is that you give me the recognition of having taken it. I'm here to help.

Your Welcome! I did go back and changed the date under the photo caption. When you asked for Eliza and I found her memorial I automaticly took photos of the other family members. As with this one, I never know if whoever requested a photo might not know the other family members are buried there also. Glad to be of some help. Carole

Hi
You are sure welcome. I'm glad I could help!
I visit the cemetary several times a year, so when I do I always check the request page before I go.
Blessings,
Janis
