|Genealogy Nut||Florence L Barnacassle Brown|
Hi there, I noticed that you manage Florence's grave memorial. Do you happen to know anything about her husband Ernest Brown? I had some info on Ernest, submitted it, and was immediately transfered the memorial. I am distantly related but don't have much info. If you can help, let me know!

|Joy Steele||Barney[castle] Photos|
Hi. I've added photos to your memorials for the Barneycastles at Jericho Church of Christ, Davie Co., NC. Would you link them to one another?

|Dan Stevenson||Boyer-Nifong Gang|
I went ahead and set up a memorial for Keziah Boyer Nifong's husband, Noah Adam Nifong and left a large bio for him. And I linked Keziah's mother, Amanda Barneycastle Boyer to her father, as you requested.

|Sandy Littlejohn||RE: McAuley grave|
Yes, it is sad that some people destroy cemeteries. I'll never understand that. I was suprised at the condition of this cemetery. It's right on the main road and was mowed but I could tell there was a lot of damaged headstones that couldn't have been done by anyone but humans.

|Sandy Littlejohn||RE: McAuley graves|
I photographed the whole cemetery that day (it was probably less than 2 acres). There are probably as many graves without headstones here as with headstones. Also, a lot of graves were marked with field stones.
Sorry I couldn't help.

|Sherry Austin||Dolly Butner Barney|
Thanks for putting this up, Maureen. Dolly was my great aunt and I met her several times. Her mother was my mother's revered "Grandma Butner." We all called Dolly "Bill." Her husband Floyd, whom I also met several times, we called "Google" (before THE Google!) as in "Barney Google." I also met their son, Floyd Junior, who was about my age. I had no idea in the world that the name was originally Barneycastle. Thanks!

|Brian Nix||Tillet Wesley Williams|
It appears you are correct about his name. On his death certificate, his name is clearly typed "Tellety Wesley Williams", but on his World War I draft card and in census records it shows his first name as Tillet. I will change it. --- Brian

|sandra||Benjamin and Mary Barneycastle|
Maureen, you have listed Benjamin and Mary Barneycastle who are buried in Fork Baptist Church in Davie County, NC. The photo of the tombstone lists the name as BARNEY not Barneycastle.
There is also another memorial listing them as Benjamin and Mary Barney. Could you please correct this on the memorials? The other memorials were done after yours, so I am sure that if you correct them, the person who did the duplicates would remove his.

|Andrea Kreeger Waters||RE: John George Keller's grave|
A soft brush and a gallon of water did wonders for his gravestone. I had cleaned it because someone had told me he thought it was the grave of John George Krieger. It would have been a HUGE find if it had been but alas it wasn't! I am glad it made your day to see it all cleaned up.

|Jimmy Sweet||Barneycastle family|
My wife is a descendant of the Barneycastle family of Bertie County, North Carolina. She descends from Samuel Barneycastle (1804-1871) and his wife Matilda Jones (1808-1882), through their daughter Mary who married Levi Harden. We don't know much about this side of the family and have no pictures. If you have anything you would be willing to share, please contact me at email@example.com
