|Janet Marie||RE: Crawfords near Westfield, WI|
The front part of Jemima's stone is leaning against the lower part. I was a bit afraid of what I would find if I pulled the stone forward. I've run into bees in the past doing that.
I'm not sure if I'm making a trip back to Springfield as I think I might be finished taking photos at both 1st Cemetery and Immanuel Lutheran. If I do go back, I will try to move her stone and hope for the best. I'll wear my running shoes if I go. :)

|Janet Marie||Crawfords near Westfield, WI|
I've been working on photographing all the markers at Springfield Cemetery near Westfield. I added a bunch of photos, especially some wide shots. If you double click on the photos, you will see captions that explain who's who. You might want to adjust the photo order so that the wide shots appear further down.
I also plan on photographing Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield where there are two more CRAWFORDS (Edmund and Meta), but I might not get to it right away.

I have to go to Iberia Cemetary which isn't far from the other Ebenezer. I'm thinking they are probably there as I know there are some Crawford's that live in Northern Morrow County. I'll stop by and take a look! :)
You have a wonderful week.
I don't mind looking, it gets me out of the house and my doctor loves that I exercise!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any Crawfords buried here.
There are many fallen stones and some illegible, but, I would think since Find a Grave has 4 listed I would at least be able to find one legible headstone.
No luck however.
Sorry, I tried

I went ahead and claimed them - I will see what I can do!

Ebenezer Methodist is on State Route 19 close to Iberia and Galion. This is the northern part of the county.
I believe the other one they reference is what most folks refer around here as "Marengo Cemetary" which is located in Marengo Ohio. This is the southern part of the county.
Hope this helps

We didn't look for anyone other than her. There is only one Ebenezer Cemetary in Morrow County - it's at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Could you send these as edits please? I was going to just search for them but the first one doesn't show up as a memorial -- perhaps a typo?? And when you send an edit, I get your memorial # so I know who to transfer it to. Thanks.

Since Great Great Great Grandparents are well outside the mandatory transfer guidelines, I prefer to continue to maintain these memorials at this time.
I will be happy to make any additions and/or corrections that you send via the edit tab.

I tried again yesterday with no luck. They gave me the same lot so I looked all around but couldn't find Sr. When I get back there I'll ask more questions. Doug

|Deanne Knapp||Peter Keyes|
I visited the Portageville Pioneer Cemetery today & could not locate Peter Keyes stone. I found his wife's. If you go to this cemetery on the Find-A-Grave website you will see that another volunteer has taken pictures of all of the legible stones there.

|Laura Kerth||Harvey Thomas Crawford|
Harvey Thomas Crawford son of Thomas Barton Crawford and Eleanor Brooks, is my husbands 2nd great grandfather and I have information on his descendants. Ancestry.com has a burial for a Thomas P Crawford same death date of 14 May 1862, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, MO Section 10 Site 8323-US Civil War Service Marker. Despite wrong middle initial I wonder if this is the same person. Laura Kerth

|Mildred Sipes Petersen||Cemetery info|
The Bradens that you have listed for Ebenezer Cemetery (Marengo) are buried at Ebenezer Methodist Epis. Cemetery (West Point), Morrow Co., OH. The stained glass windows you refer to are located in this church where the cemetery is.
This is the church where I was raised and I well remember the names on the windows :)
Someone else already has the Bradens listed in the correct cemetery. You might want to ask about transferring the listing to you, or transfer from you to them.

Hi, I received your request for Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills WI. I promise I will get to it as soon as some of the 4 inches of snow melts that we just got today, if someone else doesn't beat me to it!

It is my pleasure to make the transfer. If you ever get to Brown Co., stop at the Henderson Cemetery, it is really pleasant, but you probably need a truck to clear the ruts and make it up the hill!

I would be happy to transfer you your family memorials. You have to let me know who they are tho.

I have taken just about every photo for the East Cemetery here in Westfield, but I just haven't had time to get them all on.
If you have more requests just let me know and I will go thought my pictures to see if I have what you want, and I will be glad to get them on ASAP!

You're welcome. Actually I do plan to get all of your requests in Springfield Cem. - it is some distance away but we'll be driving right past Westfield next Saturday (the 8th). I just didn't want to tie up all my claims at once. :)
