A Newell
Correction on misspellkng
Hi Amasa Gleason Clark was my great, great grandfather on my mother's side of the family.

There's a typo or misspelling on my great grandfather's name. It should be Isaac with two A's instead of Issac with two S's.

I have Amasa's book and the correct spelling for my great grandfather is Isaac.

You can reach me at

Thank you

If you click on the image twice you will have the full size image and then can download it. The first click on it will give you a smaller version but the next click you give you the bigger one. I nearly went nuts trying to figure out how to get it. LOL

Rose Muennick
I respect your desire to remove the tombstone photo for Rose Muennick, though I cannot see why it would be a problem

I have deleted the photo.

You're welcome for the photos, glad I could help out. I'm guessing Karl's headstone was put up quite some time after his death since the death date was inaccurate. If I can be of any further help just let me know.

RE: Rimes photo, Frostproof FL cemetery
Thanks so much! I actually called the City Clerk's office. They referred me to the historical society. They're doing some checking and will let me know what they find. Thanks again!

RE: Rimes photo, Frostproof FL cemetery
Thanks so much! I didn't create "Frostproof Cemetery", but I did list my two Rimes as being interred there because family records indicate burial at "West Frostproof Cemetery". I've changed them over to "Biscuit Lake" because I've learned that's the only cemetery in Frostproof(?) I'll do some more checking.... I truly do appreciate your help...

On this man's memorial page, you had asked for more info on the family. I am not related, but just entered his sister's memorial page in Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Here is her Find A Grave number: 81518607. I found their mother's page and sent you the link so you could add it to James. Sherry

RE: Joseph Zinsmeyer at SF#2
Finally got location but have not had time to go find headstone - it is raining here today and not a good time to go trampling around cemeteries. I plan to go back within the next month, but if you want to post it, according to office of SF2 it is section 2Hs, row 5, lot 5, grave 3.

Is it possible that a family member has the ashes? I would think that if the ashes were intured there would be some record there it indicate where they are. I suppose it is possiable that it was not recorded properly at time of burial bu t have no way of knowing for sure.

RE: Your Joseph Frank Knapick
I don't have personal knowledge of this family surname, I started working on it from finding the surname in a cemetery project I have here in Houston.
However, reviewing the death cert I found of Joseph Frank and the death cert of Fannie you found they have to be spouses.....dates fit, residence fits....I have connected her entry to his as spouse.....advise if you wish me to not....

RE: Joseph Zinsmeyer at SF#2
No worries - I have looked up graves from the 30s and 40s before at this cemetery, so I know they have the records, they just couldn't access them on this particular day. Wanted you to know someone was looking. :)
