Smith's in Stillwater, OK
Hi Gary, I see that you have uploaded photos on multiple of my Smith ancestor's memorials and I find that it would take a long time to request each individual 1. I always document who took the photo and put the link to the memorial with the photo, so with that said I was wondering if I may get permission to use your photos in my tree on on this Smith line and all those related to them please? Thanks!

James Ray Coleman
Samuel Spurgeon
Hi Gary, I have Spurgeon ancestry and have mine all done but I have a 6th cousin I'm trying to help. Her 2nd great-grandfather is James Spurgeon who married Maria Springer in Miami County, Indiana. James born 1836 and was the son of Samuel and Sarah (Lark) Spurgeon. He is on the 1850 census with his parents in Miami County, Indiana. After James and Maria left Miami County I have them in the 1880 census in Porter County, Indiana. That is the last census they are in. Do you know anything about them. I would also like to know who the parents of Samuel Spurgeon are if you have that info. Thanks Jim Coleman P. S. my email address is or let me know at findagrave

RE: Nellie Bonebrake
it may have been me, I don't know last year someone found my message on a message board. It is very sad, I never met Norbert but I did write his widow, she is still living in Bluffton, Ohio. Their only son died about 4 years after his father of cancer, very very sad. The person that emailed must have been a family member, because they said something about John Smith telling the family that he was a fbi agent or something to that affect and that he was undercover at one time in a circus overseas. I will look and see if I kept the email, I usually do. I will look up the photos this weekend of John and his brothers that I have here. Have to work 3rds this week, and can't sleep these crazy hours. But please if you could I would love any photos that you could share. Thanks Rachelle

Nellie Bonebrake
I am doing some research on my great uncle, who left Ohio and moved to Oklahoma. His name was John P. Wildermuth but when he moved to Oklahoma he changed his last name to Smith. He married Nellie A. Bonebrake on March 13, 1913. She is the daughter of Maud Boyd and Reuben E. Bonebrake. I have no death date and as far as I know she is not buried along her husband John. Do you have any information on her. Also I seen your picture of Maud with another woman and 2 small children could you please tell me who they are in the picture? Thanks for any help.

RE: Caldwell pictures at Sunset
Gary, I added the Caldwell pics. Didn't want you to think I was "jumping your claim". LOL. They were just "next in line" as I was taking pictures yesterday evening.

Also, didn't want you to make a trip in this heat if you didn't have to do so! Will we ever get relief?

Gary, when I was taking pics at Sunset tonight, I came across the three Caldwell graves. You had claimed those photo requests. Do you want me to go ahead and post the pictures?

Thank-you Gary!
I cannot thank you enough for taking pictures of the graves of my Aunt and Uncle, Raymond and Mildred Dunbar.
I live in Hawaii and it's alittle difficult for
me to make it to Stillwater to do this.
However, I did go to grade school in Stillwater and it has a wonderful place in my heart!

Aloha and Mahalo Gary!
