|Janet Morence||Catherine Dalman Wanta|
I am researching my Dalman family and believe Catherine was a sister of my great-grandfather, Frank Dalman and daughter of Anton and Josepha Walczewski Dalman. While I did not find Catherine's baptism I did find the marriage of Anton and Josepha Walczewski Dalman and the baptisms of their children, Marianna, John, and Frank Dalman and the marriages of Marianna and John in the Catholic Parish in Waldau, Krs. Zempelburg (aka Sepolno Krajenskie), Bydgoszcz, Posen. These records noted different cities in the parish. Sepolno Krajenskie was a city and a governing district like a county. Krajenskie comes from the Polish word Kraj which means land or country and is a part of many names of cities in Poland. Sepolno Krajenskie was orignally the land of the Ostrorog Family. Anyway it is plausible that the place was just called Sepolno and that Opole is what someone thought they heard and recalled when Sepolno was said.

Hi, Yesterday I got your photo request for Elizabeth Wanta Wanserski. I just took 17 photos of Wantas in the Saint Agnes Church Cemetery in Weston, WI, which is around 30 miles from the St Point/Junction City area where you have a couple other requests. Maybe they are related? Just thought I would let you know and if you want more info let me know. Have a great day.
