Thanks for the input. I am a strong believer that the marker is the last word. Since Sarah is not on the stone, I have Added this info in the bio section rather than changing the memorial.

No problem! I was visiting my dad's grave so it certainly wasn't out of the way. Another weird thing is that your Uncle is buried in the same section as my dad. Kind of ironic. Take care. Keep in touch:)

FYI, found another paper the office gave me on your mom. She is in the Prayer section, lot #282, grave 3A.

Yeah, I didn't think I would get there so quickly myself. But it is the last day of my "staycation/vacation" and really had nothing planned. I work ALOT at the hospital, so when I have down time I take full advantage. I will try to get a photo of your Uncle's grave within the next two weeks when I visit my father's resting place. Again, glad I could help.

The distance does not matter to me. I understand how important it is to have a picture of a loved one's resting spot....especially your mom. We did have some difficulty finding her and had to get the groundskeepers to assist and they too were unable to locate her. This was with plot information! The directions were obviously not that good. Eventually, my boyfriend was able to locate your mom's resting place...I was getting a little worried. I am so glad we could help. While out there, I located a couple of other photo requests from members. Never a wasted day...I absolutely love helping others connect with their love ones. I will stay in touch with regards to your Uncle.

Well this is ironic. My father is laid to rest at Garrison Veteran's Cemetery as well. I go there quite often. I will see if I can locate him. I know the vets are buried by dates and years. For example, my father died August 17, 2004 and the vet next to him passed on August 20, 2004 and so forth. He should not be difficult to find if you have the exact date of his death. If not, I will ask the office staff.

Ask and you shall receive! I hope you are pleased with the picture. She is in the "Prayer" section of the cemetery, however, I forgot the lot number and my paper blew away while I was trying to take the picture of her resting spot. It was EXTREMELY windy. Anyhow, I am so happy I was able to locate her for you. Beautiful resting spot. If you need anything else, just let me know.

That is so sad about not getting a pic of your mom's grave. Is she buried in Maryland and if so, where? I will see what I can do to help.
Texas huh? My cousins live in Dallas and the Sugarland area. Familiar with it? Haven't been to TX for many years.
Get back to me about your mom and I will certainly help in obtaining her picture.

My home backs to Parkwood cemetery where I frequently walk. I was actually looking for another member's friend when I found your Uncle. I actually stopped to look around, bent down to tie my shoe and who was in front of me but your Uncle's resting spot. I couldn't believe it! I said to myself " Clark....hmm, wait a minute, I think there is a Clark on the request list." I pulled out the list, looked at the name and date and thought " I'll be damn...I found it without any plot info." Call me crazy, but I think I had a little help from above by either God or the deceased loved one. Parkwood is not a very large cemetery but by no means small.
That is the second time this week I found a request without even looking.....just walking along. I swear I think it was just meant to be. Funny thing about this is that I found both your Uncle and another member's loved one in the same section...each by accident. It was like it was meant to be.
Anyhow, I just had to share. I am so glad you are pleased. It is wonderful to have pics of your loved ones resting place and a memorial honoring them. If there is anything else I can do to help, just ask. I would be happy to help.

You're welcome! It is super easy when the exact location is provided. Is there a significance behind the pineapple?

You can add photos to any memorial whether you are the owner or not. If you want me to add information or link family members to a memorial that I own, just click on the "edit" tab on that memorial, click on "suggest a correction. ." and then just type the info and click send (if you are asking to link the person with their spouse or parents, give the memorial number(s) of the people you want them to be linked to). If you, yourself, want to link family members, you can only do that with memorials that you own. You just click on "Family Links", and you will see separate boxes for Father, Mother, Spouse, which is where you will enter each of their memorial numbers. Hope I've answered your questions. I'll be happy to answer any other questions you have.
