Hi there,

Can you please delete your memorial 134846497 as you've duplicated this memorial which I previously added (the year before you added it).
Alfred was my 2nd cousin 2x removed.

Thank you and kind regards,

RE: Charles Reginald Cooke
Thank you so much: I had seen photos of the other sides of the stone, but not this one, which reveals that Charles Reginald had been married. I knew he died in the 1919 flu epidemic, and clearly his wife died a few days after him.

RE: edits
Yes, I've noticed most people don't know about it.

RE: edits
They must be there! I can see them at my end.

This is how you will find them; -

There is a tab labelled edits, which is on the right towards the top on your profile page, can you please click on that? You will see a number of my edits there!

Callie Mack (Cogswell) Mabley
Hello Peter,

You have a note on Callie's memorial with more information pertaining to her.
Find A Grave Memorial# 65175520
I recently photographed the Section and Lot that she is buried in at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw, MI. She is buried with Wilfred G Cogswell and a 5 month old baby named Murial Cogswell. Do you know if/how they are related to Callie and/or each other?
Albert E and Mary Belle Gerow and Charles Wrege are also buried in that Lot. It's possible that these people have nothing in common....
Thank you for any info you can share.

Janet K

RE: Harold Cohen
Hi Peter,
Andrew Tatham did an excellent talk about this very interesting project at The Berkshire & Wiltshire Regiment's Museum at Salisbury a few years ago. As mentioned in the article, he has travelled extensively to meet as many of the relatives as possible but what the article didn't mention was the fact it was self funded which did cause him a few financial headaches.
I am so pleased that he has managed to find a publisher to tell of his amazing journey of research ....Regards, John

Harold Cohen
Hello Peter,
Thank you for adding the photo of Harold Cohen to his Memorial. Sadly his actual grave is proving elusive as I have had a note from a fellow volunteer that his grave is not where the CWGC has indicated.....Regards, John

Memorials in wrong cemetery
You have numerous memorials in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio that are NOT buried there. These people are buried in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery which is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT CEMETERY. Please move all burials that you have in Mansfield Cemetery with a plot marked "Catholic Cemetery Lot ##" to the separate Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Thank you.

RE: Westhougthon churchyard
Peter, can you solve a problem for me - do you know where St Bart's churchyard ends and the cemetery starts ?? im putting some graves on and Ive noticed another person has duplicated several graves in both - ive taken pics and gone as far down to the second pathway but not as far as the monument , as far as I can gather if i carry on walking then i end up in the cemetery where the monument is -

RE: St Marys Deane
no worries , you certainly have spotted a few I missed and a lot of the larger ones I couldnt photograph as having to stand on the tombstones to photograph with my little camera was not so safe - as well as the long grass in summer -

you are very brave going on a wintry day there -

Peter, great work your doing there but noticed you made a duplicate - if you would be so kind to delete yours and add the pic to the memorial already on there would be great

What an interesting article, I enjoyed it very much. Now, what got you to research him, and how did you do it? Do you have more articles?

RE: Deane gravestones
I absolutely love the history of England, it is my favorite place to study, read, and watch documentaries. I am sad there are no headstones, but I have a question. You said that their graves are on a hillside where they are covered with brush, so I wonder if the author even went over there.
I will be glad to send you money but what is your address. haha

You are brillant!!!! What a gent you are getting me all this info!!!!!!!! I believe you are right about Jacob's parents and siblings. I came across the same info just days ago. Now I will research the girls that married and try to find out more on the parents. I saw the death certificate - amazing! But, it is disappointing not to have the parents names on it to comfirm. Thank-you for a wonderful Xmas present. But, I would ask you to get Jacob's wife's death certificate and I would pay you. I would like the actual copies also, my address is Maryann C. Martel, 18 Terry Lane, Fall River, Ma 02720. I would also need your address to send you money. Thank-you my friend!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Jacob and Betty (Morris) Wheatley
Thank-you so much for your help, I saw all those churches and couldn't believe it. Can you ask your contact at the church for Jacob and Betty's daughter Alice who died 1851, I am quite sure that she is also buried there with her family.

St Marys Deane
it just occurred to me that the Memorial inscrips were done by Manchester family history soc many years ago and there is a book which I often refer to held at westhougthon library , I sometimes use it , if you are around there you migtht like to see if the Wheatley one is in there, as im sure ive missed out so many due to bad weather , undergrowth and slippery surfaces, it contains many of the older memorial inscripts , so you might like to have a look if you have time , just ask Mandy for the Deane Church reference book of memorial inscrips held upstairs in the reference section .

Although I used it i never wanted to copy it direct from source due to copyright, but it gives you the map and the location of the graves as well
