John T. Walker
Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request and for trying to locate my other family members. The marker that you found was of my great great great grandfather, John Thompson Walker, who was the original owner of the Page-Walker Hotel in Cary. His son, Jacob Rujus Walker, and his wife, Helen Nancy Yates Walker, took over the operation of the hotel from him. I'm trying to research this family to provide more information for the hotel.
I don't know who provided the information about the burial of J.R. and Helen Walker. Perhaps their graves are unmarked around John Thompson Walker's.

Bellaire Cemetery
There are four memorials for this cemetery in Belmont Co., OH. I grew up in Shadyside, OH, just south of Bellaire. I've never found a Bellaire Cemetery. There are over 100 cemeteries in the county and none of the familiar names are "Bellaire".

However, the USGS web site does have a listing for "Bellaire Cemetery". Maximizing the map shows the detail of this location. It's actually two cemeteries. Today, people refer to it as the DAVIS-WORKMAN cemetery. The last time I was there, I remember a very small sign.

Tombstone photos and maps for these 100+ cemeteries are available for searching on the MyFamily - Belmont Co. site. It's private and requires a password, but it is free.

I've seen death certs. that document the burial at "Bellaire". Further investigation revealed all but one of these were Greenwood or Rosehill Cemetery. It's the same location, but two different names have been used over the years. One burial turned out to be Bellaire, Mich.

So, for the memorial you posted to Bellaire Cemetery, Belmont Co., OH - have you been there ? Is it small ? Did you take any photos ?

I'm fairly positive your Bellaire Cemetery is actually the Davis-Workman Cemetery, Bellaire, Belmont Co., OH.

Catawba Springs Cemetery
You've taken yet another wonderful picture! I was a little concerned when I first saw the stone as my eye caught the broken piece laying on the base and I thought it came from my marker, but it seems someone just layed that piece there. Thanks again.

Pierce pictures
WOW! I am so impressed with your pictures. Even if the sun had been right when I took my pictures, they surely would not have turned out so crisp and bright as yours, as you can see by the few Pierce pictures I have posted. I wish I had someone here that could teach me how to work my camera properly so I could take great photos like yours. Thanks so very much!!

I was wondering if you could tell me if Jacob Beaver is Buried at, I see someone stated the old cemetery next to Greenlawn Cemetery, China Grove, Rowan Co., North Carolina. Do you know the name of this cemetery? Headstone says he was 35 years, 1 month, and 20 days old. Thanks, Jonathan Grimm
