Kluttz Family
Hello , made a suggestion on Johann Leonard Klotz 24988951 The actual spelling of the middle name should be Leonhard. Also there is another memorial of Johann Sr. that is spelled Klutz in the same cemetery I guess maybe we can contact the owner and have it removed since you have the correct name spelling of Klotz for that era on your memorial I would accept a transfer if you like since im linking the whole Kluttz family on here and on were the Klotz family tree is.

RE: Sarah Willard
Sorry I was unable to locate either gravestone for you... Louis is not even listed on the memorial sign... I photographed almost every stone in the cemetery and double checked my photos... Many of the stones in this cemetery are very hard to read and some of them impossible... The cemetery seems to be well maintained but hasn't been used in over a 100 years... By just browsing through my photos of the "tags" the latest date of death interred there was in the year 1900...

RE: Tekla
Hi Doug,

I sent you additional info that I found, tried to send it to your e-mail address, but my provider doesn't like the address. Do you have another one that I could use to send you the info. Just send another e-mail address to my e-mail address. That would keep it private.

Rev. Melzer
Hi Doug,

I did not post Rev. Melzer, it appears that it was transferred to you. I posted his daughter
Tekla yesterday, but will transfer to you if you like. She would be related to you.

I looked in the Anniversary book for Trinity Lutheran Church and found that Rev. Melzer was baptized at Trinity on April 30, 1876 by Rev. W.G. Polack. Rev. Melzer is buried near my grandparents.

Let me know about Tekla.

RE: Alfred Morris
I'm not kin, either. I was just hoping you'd move the information you have on the footstone memorials over to the headstone memorials for both Alfred and his wife and then delete the footstone memorials.
If you'd prefer you can transfer the four of them to me and I'll move the information and pictures, combining them into two memorials showing both headstones and footstones and crediting the photos and history of his war service to you. And if family comes along and wants them I'd transfer them on to family.

RE: Adaline Maynard Salem Church Apex

Sure, if you don't mind. Then I can add a bit on her and link her to some other relatives. She is one of my GG Grandmothers.

I'm still trying to figure if she lied about her age. If her given birth is accurate, she was married at 12 (1856), which (despite jokes) was far from normal.

Adaline Maynard Salem Church Apex
Adaline Maynard was the wife of Josiah Crudup Maynard, wounded at the Battle of the Wilderness, who died in 1869, buried probably on the family farm west of Cary, NC. Her maiden name was Upchurch. Her daughter Nancy was the wife of William Thomas Castlebury, also buried at Salem. They are the parents of Albert Bunyan "Bunn" Castlebury, also buried there.
