RE: Request for information, please
Hello Shirley,

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very long time due to personal reasons.

You were asking if had any information concerning the Crown Hill Cemetery where Jesse and Sarah Hamilton are buried. I did some research on the cemetery on the internet and added what I found on one of the pictures I posted for the cemetery. As for Jesse and Sarah I do not have information for either of them. I am a member of GenealogyBank.com and Newspaperarchive.com. and I looked to see if I could find anything for them and I did not see anything.

I saw that you have put up a memorial for them since you e-mail to me. I am glad that you where able to locate them and got a photo of their place of interment.

Sorry I could not be of more help,

Michael

RE: Mary Ann Wright/Click/Sneed/Sneed
Shirley I have not been to the cemetery so cannot say for certain if a stone is there or not. Recent DNA test results have came back for my husband and he too connects to our Wright line thru the Sneed family which was what led me to research Aunt Mary Ann a bit further. Guess that means hubby and I are distant cousins lol

Michael A. Wright
RE: Richard Wright
Hi Shirley,

We strongly believe he was William Wright, b. abt 1746 in NC, but not positive. I have just recently taken a DNA test through FamilyTreeDNA and, although not all the results are back yet, the 12 marker has come back and does show a positive match to a John Wright born in 1664 in England and Died 1700 in Stafford County, VA. i do know there is also a connection to a George Wright, b. 1743 in Granville, NC and died after 1800 most likely in Grandville.

If you would like to correspond more you can reach me at reachmikewright@gmail.com. Would love to help in anyway I can.

Best Regards,

Mike

RE: James S Cupp
Shirley, James S & Elizabeth Voiles were my grandfather, Charles T Cupp's parents. Charles T & Margaret Haynes had 4 children, including my father, Ed Eliace & the infant baby girl, Margaret Dorothy , that is buried with James S. she was his grandchild.
This is all the info that I have at this time. If you can add to it , I would be grateful. I'm also looking for info on my grandmother , Margaret or Maggie Haynes. I haven't been able to locate death or birth certificate for her.
Thanks, Mary

RE: Susannah Fouts Morgan
I was given the following location fro her burial but church records would probably be need to confirm this... 60666203. Some people have give the burial place as an unknown Morgan cemetery but I have not found a record of that in Washington Co., Indiana. If you find the memorial is in the wrong place, please let me know and I will remove it... Candace Smith

RE: Cane Creek Cemetery
Hi Shirley,
I made a note of your request and will follow up next week. I have another request for a better photo at Cane Creek Cemetery so will walk around there soon. I'll let you know if I find a tombstone. The mortuary in Marble Hill I believe has burial records for Cane Creek so if I don't find a tombstone you may want to contact Liley Funeral Home. They are on line. I'll get back with you later,
Marlene

Ledgerwood
Shirley
I'm chasing the Ledgerwood Trunk of my family Tree. William and his wife Agnes came to this county around 1734 with their 5 children. I'm currently working on the children and am also in Indiana at the Ledgerwood Cemetery in Carlisle, Sullivan County. I (we) have found I have two generations both named James mixed up together. All information says the son of William was in the Revolutionary War and died on Oct 4, 1777 at Germantown. Wrong! The Grandson James born in 1753, of William was captured and his Grave marker is Memorial #32734716. He escaped two years later and lived until 1806. Now I get to fix my tree on Ancestry.com. Hehehehehehe Only I don't know who his father is. Hehehehehe I do think I may be a direct descendant of his. Maybe my sister can join the Daughters of the Revolutionary War. Hehehehe
Happy trails and many blessings!

This is all that I found on Familysearch.org after 30 or 40 searches that seemed to fit your question. It fit the Obit that I have on Elizabeth's Memorial. Good Luck.
Many Blessings!

I also subscribe to Ancestry, so I'll be happy to check that out.

I also believe the Marshalls had come from Maryland before going to Albemarle Co., Virginia, and then down into North Carolina.

Thanks!!

Thank you additional information about Elizabeth's parents. I've added it to her Find A Grave entry.

My gr-gr-grandmother was her husband Joseph's sister, Susannah Marshall Crews.

I had no idea that she and Joseph had so many children, and wouldn't have known it until I went to add the info that you sent.

That is very interesting!!
