|Sheryl W. O. ||Hobson Cemetery, Hazel Hill|
Ms Karen, thank you so much for transcribing and photographing this cemetery in Johnson County, Missouri. I'm planning a trip over there in May 2016 - can you help me locate this small but significant to me cemetery? Thanks in advance!

Karen, I saw your response to Bob concerning Haywood Bunch. I have information on him and Annie Bunch and would like to compare notes as I've hit some dead ends.

|LEONADA9||RE: Peter Miller wives|
I am a descendent of Peter Miller and I have researched his family extensively. Eunice Pike was born on 11 Jan 1815 in Clinton, New York. She married Osias Hale (1812-1847) on 1 Jan 1832 in Pike, Alabama.
Page 197b of the 1850 US Census for Peoria County, IL (which can be viewed here: http://www.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/il/peoria/1850/pg0189a.txt) contradicts the central assertion of the message you sent me...
Enumerated directly after 45 y/o Peter and 35 y/o Eunice (and just 14 months after their marriage) is Peter's eldest daughter, 19 y/o Mertina Miller followed by 6 siblings ending with 5 y/o Amanda. How you account for that in the context of your message boggles me. I welcome an explanation and evidence to support your conclusions.

|Oklahoma Bob||RE: Stalcup at Paoli, OK|
Karen, I am not related to anyone buried in Paoli cemetery. I just canvassed and photographed most of that cemetery for historical purposes. Since you are related to the Stalcups, I will transfer these memorials to you. Thanks for contacting me.

I'm confused. The Gilbert Wayne Ray that you gave the memorial for, I didn't enter. I would have to maintain that memorial, which I don't, to add a parent. But I did enter Lois, but I can't put her as Wayne's mother.

Karen, thank you so much for asking me to review the word on the rock--I believe you are correct. I took the picture--but apparently didn't LOOK at the picture!! I went off of what a gentleman had written years ago.
Now--can you recommend how I should list this and explain about "Creek". You have told me a little about how it was railroad "lingo". I would like to make it sound good, but I am not very good with words.
I keep hoping that railroad families will read Find A Grave--I was told that years before I got into working on our church cemetery and Find A Grave that folks came through looking for where they were told a family member had been buried in the church cemetery--he, too, was a railroad worker. I found that gentlemans death certificate and have it posted. Back when his family came through no one knew where or what his name was, just knew that a RR laborer had been been buried there. So, my hope is that someone will find Find A Grave and find the lost family member. I know we don't know who "Creek" is, but I still would like to give him a proper bio.
Thank you so much for your help!

Karen, did you find out who Perlina's mother was? I live in Cumberland County. Have you tried the death certificates of her siblings? I wish there was someway I could help. My husband descends from Isaac, Isaac B., George, Carvin, William Stalcup. He doesn't do genealogy but I have worked on many families for years.

|Lemstar97||RE: Mrs. Bird - Keenan Cemetery|
Hello. Sorry about the delay in replying due to the holidays and company. No, I am not related to Darthula Rosalee Myers Bird. I live near Keenan Cemetery and love going there to walk around. I decided to take photos of all the existing markers to upload to the cemetery list but haven't gotten around to getting them all taken care of since I need to resize them first. I would then look at death certificates to see if there's more that could help fill in the blanks on that individual to make them more complete as much as I could. I wish I have relatives buried here but my parents moved here in mid 1960s from Dallas. I consider Farmers Branch my true home as I've lived here the longest. I wish I could help you fill in more on your folks. You can ask Bill Robinson to see if he will transfer her (and her husband's) pages to you to add more information to. Then perhaps someone out there will see her page and contact you with more information, especially if they're also related to her.
