Hubble, Center Village Cemetery
A.R. Hubbell (Alonzo R.), 1846 to 1913 - Civil War, private, Co. G, 38th OVI

Daniel Hubbell (was buried between his brother A.R. and father H.S. but stone is unreadable), Civil War, private, Co. G, 45th OVI, died in Andersonville, Oct. 16, 1864 - marker in Center Village Cemetery

H.S. Hubbell, 1817 to 1887, Civil War, Corporal, company uncertain

You can confirm these through Sons of the Union veterans website.

William Hubbell - dates and grave location uncertain, also a son of H.S.

A.P. Carr, Center Village Cem. Del Co. OH
A.P. Carr should be A. B. Carr (Albert B.), he was in the Civil War, Corporal, Co. I, 32nd OVI.

I see you have an Asa Carr listed too - I've never seen that name in Center Village Cemetery (and I've been there recently.)

There should be a Peter C. Carr in the cemetery but his grave location is lost. He was a private in Co. G, 45th OVI Civil War.

William Butler - Center Village Cem. Del Co. OH
You have an incorrect name. It should be William Cutler (not Butler). Dates 1837 to 1880, Sgt., 121st OVI, Civil War.

RE: Emeline Martin
You know, it was the strangest thing. I had looked up Emeline Martin in the index before, and she was not listed. Today, I was looking up some other names, and as I was flipping through the pages, Emeline's name just jumped out at me. For some reason, that page was not listed in the surname index for Martin. I guess she just wanted to be found today!

Marty in Goshen NY
Are we cousins?
Today I saw your request for a photo of the memorial for Daniel Denison Jr, in the Denison-Jones Cemetery in Stephentown NY.

I don't think I have digital photos of
that tombstone, just film type prints, but on my next trip up that way I'll certainly try to add it and others (if the place isn't as badly overgrown as it has been in the past). I live 125 miles SSW of there, and rarely get there more than once a year.

I'm contacting you to see if you are a descendant of Daniel Denison Jr and Katherine Avery. If you are, we're cousins, possibly fifth cousins
or something like that, and you're a descendant
of Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower in 1620. My descent from Elder Brewster, which includes Daniel Denison Jr, has been approved by the Mayflower Society.

So what's your interest in Daniel Denison Jr. ???

Nathan Thomas #36393485
This Nathan (one of my g-grandfathers) was the founder of the original Thomas family homestead along the Connecticut River. His wife was Hephzibeh, maiden name FARR, Thomas. Can you link her #36393527 to him?
Nathan was born in Newton, Massachusetts, son of William Thomas II and his wife Patience --.
Nathan was a signer of the town of Chesterfield's Declaration of Independence in 1776. He was in Nahum Baldwin's regiment under Capt John Houghton and was sent to reinforce the Continental Army in New york. He was a bullet maker. Thank you! Carolyn

Re: James Elwyn Bemis death date
I am almost positive that James died on February 11, 1920 by all resource accounts, including a burial date of February 12, 1920. If it's not too much trouble, could you get a peek at the clerk's burial cards to confirm?
