It appears to me that this headstone was placed at a later day, not sure just a guess. But her death date is 1864 however she was still alive in 1880 living with her son Charles W. Smith. Any thoughts, I can be reach at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I have tried on earlier occasions to contact you, with no success. I am a new member of DAR. I am the daughter of Irene Figgins (Day) Perry, who was raised in Huntington, W.Va. My Dad was "Casey" Perry. I'm sure you heard of them from your Mother and Aunts. Marie Figgins was my maternal Grandmother and we were all very close. Since my Mother passed away (in 2007)and I cleaned out her home, which I considered a privilege, I found lots of family history and became interested. My Mother loved your Mother (and your Grandmother) very much and I wish I had made a better effort to bring her to see your Mother.
I would like very much to contact you. Your information was also instrumental in my being able to join the DAR and I thank you so much for that. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you so VERY much for the photo you added to Susannah! It means so very much since I live too far away to play detective on my own. Thanks again!
