RE: Hicks Cemetery
Rock Springs to Shields Lake, on the hill to the right above the lake, on property that used to be Hicks property with a house now. Have to walk thru a field to top of hill.

An easier way I think, but I am not too good giving this location. Go out Goodson Lane in a settlement on left, on hill, good parking area behind a home. It's not nearly as far to walk this way.

Last time I was there 5 yrs ago, there were trees down across the iron fence. Should have some upkeep since it is the oldest Hicks.

Good luck and happy hunting.

Thank you so much for all you have done to help so many of us find our ancestors. Also for the reenactments as efforts to perform this tragedy of our ancestors is phenomenal. It is our ancestry, history was made and changed our country.

I am trying to find my Great Grandfather Robert Patterson, he was married to Susannah Headrick Patterson. He was born 1806, died 1864. He was in the confederate Infantry. There is a picture of him in uniform at a museum at Shiloh, Tenn.

I live in California so can't be there to search for him.

RE: Morgan Cemetery
Sorry to take so long getting back to you.
These memorials are found, going west on Cove Rd. from Chickamauga on 341,turn left onto Camp Rd. short piece turn left onto Shaver Rd. It is located on Shaver property. We had no problem getting permission to go to it. There was no sign showing the name. Hope this can be of help to you.
Happy Hunting.

RE: Parker R. Brooks Grave
The name Ralph was from a family tree on (dbowers93) tree.
I didn't find any documents to prove this... I wondered why he was buried in Whitfield County Ga. As far as I can tell he never lived here. Is he buried in Knoxville TN? Do you know where his parents are buried?

RE: D. H. Brooks

D. H. Brooks, Memorial# 414692 is not my memorial, I only added the photographs to the memorial, so I cannot make any changes you suggested. I am sure that Hope will be more than happy to make them for you. I would suggest that you used the Edit tab at the top of the memorial to suggest the changes to her.
