Quick note to say really love your beautiful photo of Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham Ala., especially happy you got the crepe myrtles in it. They are truly my favorite & bring back wonderful memories of my dad's meticulous pruning of ours to keep them in prime shape and gorgeous health. Thanks for the memories!!!

|Caron D. Register Mullininx||RE: Cyrilla King|
You are so welcome! There were two certificates of death on her, one of them said she was buried in the Douglasville City Cemetery. That is what must have thrown your search for her down a mysterious pathway. You know, can't find 'em when they are not buried there :). I LOVE a great challenge. Doing Ancestry, and now helping with F.A.G. is so enjoyable and interesting to me. Let me know if you have any more ties to the Douglasville area that I can help you with!

|Amy T.||Old Fairforest Cemetery/David Sloan|
Thank you for posting the photo of the headstone of David Sloan (a direct ancestor) in Old Fairforest Cemetery in Union County. Do you know of any way to reach the graveyard, as it looks to be literally out in the woods? Appreciate any assistance to access and visit David's gravesite. Thank you!

Simpson Bobo is my 4th great grand uncle.
Do you have any info about his brother Elisha Bobo/wife Lucy Dean and their son Alfred P Bobo and his wife Elizabeth Hobby? I am looking for any kind of proof of the birth of Alfred to Elisha and Elizabeth.
You have done a lot of terrific work. With your work and the work of my first cousin, I have learned so much about my Bobo Family.
My great, great grandfather, Elisha Madison Bobo from Arkansas was in the War Between the States.

|Mandy G.||RE: James Leonard Denman|
The photo is not specifically James Denman's grave. The mass graves on Memorial Hill are not marked individually in any way, there are simply state markers in each area for soldiers whose state of origin was known, and "unknown" markers for areas were the soldiers could not be identified. Since James Denman's burial was noted to be in the Georgia section, that is the only marker denoting the approximate area of his burial.
There is a directory online of burials at Blandford, including the small percentage of identified Confederates - it can be found here:

Mr. Bobo I would like to thank you for the work that you do for Findagrave.com! My family history went back on my maternal Grandfathers side to only his name and his approximate year of death, I still have not found much information about my Grandfather but I chased a lead on his parents to Spartanburg, SC. and after searching Findagrave.com I found a picture of my Great Grandfathers headstone in the Episcopal Church of the Advent Cemetery, the picture was taken by you. This spring I made a short trip to Spartanburg and put flowers on my Great Grandfathers,Great Grandmothers, Great Uncles and Great Aunts graves.I went to the Spartanburg Library and with help I found approximately where they lived and that my Great Grandfather was a successful businessman [as far as I knew he could have been a horse thief] who died very unexpectedly after a buying trip, his wife died 4 days later and they left 5 young children [I thought that there were only 3 children] behind that were sent to Baltimore Md. to live with an aunt. In the end I have so much more to learn about that side of my family but thanks to your picture I now know alot more than I ever did before and have been able to follow my family back one additional generation. I will make another trip to Spartanburg soon and hope to check a few additional leads I found on the site to a possible Great Aunt buried in a different Cemetery and the possibility that some of her descendants might still live in the area.
So in case you ever wonder if the work you do provides people with valuable information I just wanted to let you know that not only do your pictures help in locating a grave the pictures helped me to find 2 generations [and I hope more] of my family that we knew nothing about and for that I Thank You!
P.S. I also found my Great uncles and Grandfathers enlistment papers for World War 1 and a letter that was written by Grandfather to his aunt in Baltimore when he was serving as a forward post lookout just before the start of the Battle of the Bulge, again this all started with your picture and some accidental good luck that came from finding the picture you took.
