I've not had time to get to the cemetery, and I still plan to do so, but I decided that the evidence points to you being 100% correct.
I've updated the memorial to reflect everything you sent (I think!). If I missed anything, let me know.

I became interested in this cemetery when in my grandmother's basement I ran across the photo of my gg granmother Delbridge's cemetery plot and stone. Previously I had not known where she was buried. By googling the names of the stones in the cemetery behind her stone, I was able to locate the cemetery. She had married in Camborne, had three children and then came to California with her blacksmith husband for the gold rush. They had four more children here. After he died, she returned to England to be near her family. Her son-in-law continued to send money to support her until she died. I hope to visit this cemetery next spring. Would you like any photos?

You're welcome. I'm afraid I won't be able to help you much at all. It looks like they were married in 1857 and he died just a few years later. I can't access the marriage certificiate but there might be more information there. Really the only folks I know anything about that are buried in this cemetery are Mary Jane Ingram Delbridge 117787980 and her son, John. She was my great great grandmother.

Sorry but I don't know anything about this person. I only transcribed some information I found about this cemetery. Barry

Thank you so much for the info. I had it at one many years ago from a cousin who even sent photos, but I couldn't find the reference to the cemetery in my notes any more. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

This is one of the graves that was relocated.
The cemeterys at Leatherwood were relocated too.
Some graves you'll find they've been moved to Palm Memorial (Matheny, Wyoming Co. WV), Skyline, Leatherwood Community Cemetery (both in Justice, Mingo Co. WV).
Keep in mind that graves were taken to other Cemeterys as well, not just the ones I mentioned.
Any Graves that were located at Guyan (not Coal Mtn.) and Leatherwood are no longer at Guyan or Leatherwood.
If you find a grave that is no longer at Leatherwood or Guyan then it was one of the 1000's that got relocated.
Read the pics of the Leatherwood and Skyline Cem. I posted on here, they read 1976.

|Brenda Hatfield||RD Bailey Dam|
All Cemeterys at Guyan were relocated when the RD Bailey Dam was being constructed, the graves were spread out to various other cemeteries.
There are only 4 Cemeterys at Coal Mtn. and they are all Hatfield Cemeterys, (Luke Hatfield aka Coal Mtn. Community Cemetery), Valentine Hatfield Cem., James Hatfield Cem., J. Kenna Hatfield Cemetery(a handful of graves in it).
At one time Coal Mtn. was also called Guyan so when you read an old obit or death record it may be misleading about the place of burial.
I've seen where some folks keep creating Cem. at Guyan but there are no graves at Guyan anymore.

The Levi Toler at Coal Mtn. Cemetery is probably Levi Sanford Toler.

I rec'd your message about this being a duplicate memorial. However, I believe mine is the correct one. There are a number of cemeteries in McConnell. I will go there and double check.

In regards to Nora Belcher. There are two Asbury Cemeteries in the East Lynn area. Nora #129195732 is in the correct Asbury cemetery because I walked that cemetery and photographed her grave stone there. Thank you for your concern.

|SueM||RE: Burwood cemetery|
Hi, had a look at Burwood and other cemeteries, but no luck for Benjamin Marks. The only cemetery that l can think of that might be correct is Melbourne General Cemetery. If you email them with name and dates, also ask if he is there, who else is in the grave. They are extremely fast at getting back to folks with info, so wouldn't be surprised if you get a response within 48 hours. Their email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope that helps.

Just wanted to let you know that I am still planning to revisit this grave site. Unfortunately, the weather here has been most uncooperative. Copious rainfall has caused lots of flooding and washed out gravel roads. The only non-rainy days are spent attempting to complete yard work before the rains start again.
Sooo...I will get to this when the weather settles. Sorry it is taking so long, but not much can be done. :(

|Joan Viney||RE: Suggested Find A Grave Correction|
Thank you so much for providing these census records as references. I have added them to my files. I was confused at first when I saw you listed her home as Lebanon, Cooper County, Missouri. As a resident of Missouri I was well aware that the city of Lebanon is not located in Cooper County, but in Laclede County instead--a county established in 1849; however, when I accessed the census records you quoted, I found she lived in Lebanon Township instead. A township name does not always identify the town where one lives. In fact, the Berrys were farmers so, thus, lived in a rural area---not in a town at all. Laclede county is south of Cooper County with two other counties separating them. I live even further south and west of Laclede County in a county which borders Arkansas. Further research even made it possible for me to link Ruth Matilda to her parents.
Thanks again for your assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further corrections to any of my memorials.

Could you please provide historical references as verification that her middle name was Matilda and her maiden name was Berry? Thanks.

I noticed you left a message about Mary Berry and mentioned that you had found some information in a book entitled, " History of Cooper County, Missouri". If you still have that book, could I impose on you to see if the family name of Barnes is listed in it, assuming there is an index of names? I was wanting to purchase it myself, but not if the family I'm researching isn't in it.
Thank you so much,
