Thanks for deleting Aunt Elizabeth's duplicate listing. And YES! Everyone thought her name was "Elizabeth Margaret", but sometime after her death, her birth certificate surfaced and her granddaughter told me her name was really "Margaret Elizabeth"! So, for genealogical purposes we started using "Margaret Elizabeth", even though we all just refer to her as "Elizabeth". That's nice that you knew her. I never got to meet her, although our families exchanged letters often. She was my mother's father's sister. My mother met her once, years ago when she and Jake lived in Colby. Mom was in her early 20's I believe (this would've been in the 1940's), and she and a girfriend drove to Colorado to see another girlfriend, and made a stop in Colby to visit Aunt Elizabeth. How nice she was able to go to your wedding. I guess she was healthy right up until she died. Her granddaughter shared a picture with me once that was taken just 3 days before she died - they were having a family visit together. Anyway, thanks again, and take care.

Elizabeth Ellis was my great aunt. After her death we found that her name on her birth certificate was actually Margaret Elizabeth Aust (named for her mother Margaret). Some time ago I placed a memorial for her here on Find-a-grave, under the name Margaret. I just noticed you've got one out there for her under "Elizabeth" as it states on her grave stone. I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to either transfer the memorial you made over to me, or delete it, so that there aren't two out there for the same person.

Oh yes, I seen the other memorial shortly after I wrote you and I deleted mine. Well if there is anything else I can do for you let me know

Hi I added a memorial for Clyde, Laura's husband, so I could add the photo for him also. I also contacted the owner of Laura's memorial and asked her to put the memorial in the correct cemetery. So hopefully that will be done soon. I am now working on the other two requests. They are not all together. Laura and Clyde are in the Burns Memorial Gardens. Nora and Emmett are in the old city cemetery, which is also called the Elko City Cemetery. So I will find them soon.

Thanks for the corrections. I was inputting from one of the Tombstone Inscription books and was unable to see the stones! I also checked the newspaper index for the Emporia Gazette and could not find Frank Trask; I'll check the Emporia News next time I'm at the library. If he's family, I'm happy to transfer his memorial to you. Just let me know.

Thank you so much for the beautiful photo of the tombstone & gravesite of my family member, George Stowell. By any chance do you have the plot number where George Stowell is located in Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery? Your securing this photo has helped me a great deal in the family research of the Stowell Family. I appreciate your time very much in locating this site. Richard.

I will add the info on Boyd when I finish with my emails. I do cemeteries in Gem, Ada, and Canyon Counties, Idaho, so far, and I keep a list of names to always photograph if I run across them. I also have plans to do some cemeteries in Nevada and Arizona the next time I go south to see my mother. I will add Adolph to that list, and I'll check the cemeteries here with publicly- accessible rosters for your missing lady.
I keep a list of cemeteries I have eliminated for folks like that. So far, I have actually found several. This is what makes Find A Grave'ing so much fun -- solving mysteries and helping folks. I have some Gravers in Illinois solving my own family mysteries for me.

I took some other photos at the cemetery. There is a big stone for John also. I can send a copy of the large stone if you want.
Also I found stones for mother - Ellen 1840 - 1920 and James 1878-1952 in the same plot as John. I will post the pictures later for them. The find a grave site is working very slowly and sometimes not at all just now.
Also the cemetery book states that John died of a hear attack and was from County Down, Ireland. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the offer. No hurry, but would like to know for sure if he is buried in Greenwood and any other Carters around him. Thanks for all the good work. DonZas

It was my pleasure to help. You know, there are other Sauls there too. You can search for all those buried at Evergreen by going to: http://www.springsgov.com/cemetery/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=1&tabid=2
