|Linda Groom Hyde||RE: Samuel Beall|
I have so many Samuels in my Beall lineage it is overwhelming.......My grandfather was Dilliard Burroughs Beall; his father was Samuel Q. Beall (died 1930), Jr; his father was Samuel Q Beall, Sr (he died 1860:; and his father was Samuel Beall; his father was Thaddeus Beall (revolutionary patriot). So, if you figure out how we're related, please let me know. You can always e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'm on ancestry.com too. This website is difficult for me to maneuever for some reason. Good to hear from you. Thanks!!! Linda Groom Hyde

I found you had listed Samuel Beall in Irwinton Co. I am working on my DAR app and my birth/death dates differ from those you have listed. However, the family ties are the same. Can you tell me where you got your information. I do appreciate a response at your earliest convenience.

I didn't get to see the old places. I drove down Allen Rd. and saw the bridge. Other than that, I really didn't know where to go. We went to the old raines place and found the cemetery there. It was in really bad shape. Same with Elim/Elam Cemetery. A lot of fallen trees that have come down on top of the gravestones and broke them in half.
We went to Walker Cemetery, where Sarah Francis McMichael Allen Carpenter is suppose to be buried, it was on private land and said no trespassing, but we still went in to check it out, we searched but could not find her grave. We didn't have much time, hopefully we will return again next year around the same time.
Good to hear from you again Mary,

|Jacob McMichael||Hi Mary|
Just wanted to let you know that Eddie is my brother.
We went to visit an uncle in NC, and on our way back to OK, we dropped down to GA and AL. In Georgia we went through at least 10 Upson cemeteries. We made sure to take photos of any Allen graves we came across.

Still have not made it to Crown Hill, but plan to do it this week unless major interference. So hot to do much of anything. I have been doing cemeteries many years before Find A Grave, so cameras just added more spice to the gravy. The internet has made people to complacent on their research. I am in fact now trying to do research on a woman in Texas who has my GGGgrandfather(whatever) who had about 10 kids after he died and 2 wives at the same time. Amazing isn't it?

|Grannie Rhonda||RE: Family ties|
I am decended from James Guy Beall, the son of Noble Newman Beall and grandson of William Beall. I got the information from my granddad when I was young. It was written in his bible however it was lost after his death because his second wife's family took all the furnishings to there homes including all the song books. My granddad was one of 7 brothers who wrote gospel music being inspired by their brother, Benjamin B Beall. Supposedly, William would sometimes use the name Otho and then Orlanda. My granddad usually laughed when he said this. Where he got this story, I don't know. When I started my tree on ancestry, I found a copy of a US and International marriage records. Their names were listed as William O. Beall and Nancy Farmer Chandler. I haven't seen the original. It is with Yates Publishing in Provo, Utah. Hope this helps. I try to track every item that I put on my tree. If you would like to view it then I can send you an invite.
