|Sandy Vandertol||RE: Emliy A Daniels Wenban|
Can you please tell me the correct name for the cemetery in South Haven? There isn't a cemetery there with that name. I'm curious how someone named Emily gets the name of Nettie. Is there a family story there? :)

Hi, just a question- is it possible the 3rd photo you added for William (marker with a bible) is for Lovina (Watkins) Littrick? I was not able to enlarge the photo to read any information except the family name.

|Bryan Fields||RE: John Wenban|
Greetings Phyllis - I'm not sure if there's a headstone or not - Sorry for the confusion! I made my first trip out to Monroe Street Cemetery yesterday but could only find one of the 13 markers I was looking for - it's a big cemetery and had been allowed to get rundown so there are some missing markers and other issues there. I don't THINK I clicked on the "Fulfill Request" button since I didn't have the headstone shots yet, but I DID add the Historical Marker shot to the John Wenban memorial page. I'll be getting back out there to take another crack at it - I'll see what I can get for you next time I'm out there but it might take multiple trips as I try to narrow down my search for each request and there are a lot of gaps in the markers in his section.
Here are a couple sites that may be of interest to you, the first includes links to burial records and the second is the semetery foundation's site.

|Barb Walker||RE: Potter street Cemetery|
There is a transcription of Potter Street Cemetery on the Oneida County GenWeb site. Go to http://oneida.nygenweb.net/, then click on Cemeteries in the left frame. I don't see any Wenban listed there, though. If I come across anything relevant, I'll let you know.

So glad you were able to find and photograph my great uncle's headstone. Spring sometimes comes late in Michigan, and I hoped he would be found by June. Thank you for your dedication. May God Bless you in your work.

|Deborah Gliva||RE: research|
dunelady.com/laporte has lots of info, including a wonderful listing of county cemeteries. (the Bunyeas are in the Old City Cem. Reburials section of Pine Lake Cem; be sure and read this section!)
laportelibrary.org is the local library site; they have a genealogy section.
If you have the dates,I'd be happy to look up obits for you.
Hope this helps! Debbie

|Deborah Gliva||RE: Bunyea|
Hi Phyllis! You're very welcome; I'm sorry it took me so long. Did you notice the death date on William's stone doesn't match the one in the memorial? The memorial says March 23; the stone says May 24. I know you didn't create the memorial,so you may already be aware of this.It will change the birth date if that was obtained by subtracting the age on the stone.
Happy to help! Debbie

|Michelle Shreve||Albee Vorce|
I just looked at the photo you posted for Albee Vorce and you did a great job. I would have thought his parents would be buried close to him as they died around the same time, within less than 10 years. Leroy Vorce is my g-g-g-grandfather so I really would like to have his marker photo.
