RE: Edna S. Miller (#55542959)
I have added the relationship links and maiden name to Edna's memorial. However, findagrave informs me that there are two cities named Maple Grove in Michigan (one is in Marquette Co. and the other's in Muskegon Co.), so I wasn't sure which one was correct to add for the places of birth/death. If you let me know, I'll be sure to add that to the profile as well.

Yes, I was just trying to be consistent with the others that I have marked. I photographed that entire section. Thank you for your note.

that would be the only area you would see it. Peter (Nancy's father) is @ Fairville. I have letters from her nieces using Gumore for her & all of Peter & Betsy's descendants.

RE: Willard Miller -- Barry County, MI
Thanks for letting me know about this. Sorry it took me a while to respond, but it should be fixed, now. Let me know if there's anything else I should change.

RE: DeVall-Hawver
Thanks for the family information. All of these people are on one
stone and no other stone is near it. There are no footstones, so
I can't even pinpoint where Dota is buried. I only know that she
is between Nora, who is not on the stone, and Jessie Bell, who
is. The stone is on the west edge of the section along the road
I am glad you didn't ask your sister to go up there. She would
have left disappointed

DeVall-Hawver
I hope your sister didn't waste any time looking for Dota DeVall. I
Was just there and taking request photos and others and when I
didn't see Hawver and DeVall on lot 13, I recalled that the Hawver
stone is in the pioneer section 1. I assume that Dota is there too,
but I did not have a stone photo for her and I checked the lot
again today to confirm that there is no stone for her. I uploaded
all the Hawvers: A.F., Catherine, Jesse, George, Ida, Elizabeth. I
already uploaded Abram earlier

RE: Swann
You're welcome. I can do that because I can photograph a section
while I am there. The weather is going to take a downward turn so
I will have to wait for warmer

It may be a misspelling. I was thinking Dora. But the Wayne County
Historian's Surname Search has Dota

I was just working on that. Is the Milwaukee street address in Janesville? I listed it as Fort but am thinking I need to change city of death to Janesville.

Okay on everything. I go to Marion periodically. There has to be a
builduo of requests. Dota Devall is on the same lot as the Hawvers

I use a marked and printed map when I go there and follow a geog
progression

Thanks for the info on Lulu's surrogate

RE: Zillah DeVall
There is also a Dota Devall with no dates on lot 13 in Section 6. The
Excel shows Lula May infant died 1884. Daryl is going by the same
Excel spreadsheet I have. In fact, he provided it to me. So. Clearly
there are errors in it. It was typed from the records

I know Nahum and Hannah are there on the west side and just haven't
hd a chance to look for them. Okay on the Warners. I can find anyone
on the east side because I have the secretary's email and two phone
numbers. I photographed the maps for the east side. I have seen Spies
there but don't recall where. I will email for the location and get it very
soon. You are welcome

RE: Zillah DeVall
There was just enough snow left to cover Margaret's stone. Genweb
for South Lyons as well as for many other cemeteries is a walkthrough
I can't imagine they walked the cemetery in the winter so maybe it
had just been mowed and grass covered it. I put the overview photo
up on her memorial so that her stone can be seen just west of the
Hunters. For records of South Lyons burials, I call the secretary. She
told me Margaret was on the same lot with Charles Burnett

Lenore sent me the info about William. I uploaded photos of Burnett
stones in South Lyons and have others in a collection. I go to Lyons
Rural frequently for requests but do not have any Burnett stones on
file from there. I am trying to find William McGown, uncle of Margaret
Burnett. He is not in the records but his wife Jane is in South Lyons
Lenore will be creating a memorial when she has time

Thanks for the correction. The INFANT in grave 10 is listed as Lulu
May d. 1884. Sunnyside is a cemetery I go to rarely. It is one that I
will photograph when time permits. But there are few requests for
stone photos there. Thanks for the Devall family information!

RE: Zillah DeVall
Yes, the lineup on lot 1131 is Herbert in 1W, Helen in 2W, Frances
in 3W and Martin in 4W. Then there should be a note for Herbert's
record No Stone. I see in the Newark Union Gazette that Martin
lived one mile north of Fairville and he sold wagons and horses. To
access the Rochester Regional Library newspaper collection go to
http://news.nnyln.net/rrlc-all/dtSearch_form.html. I have to get to
bed now. Thanks for the communication on your Devalls!

RE: Zillah DeVall
Yes, Lenore is the one whom I have taken photos for in Newark and
South Lyons. Margaret Burnett has a marble wafer stone in S. Lyons
that was buried beneath the snow until yesterday. I see in the Excel
that the Devalls in Marion are on lots 13 and 513. I handle the Marion
requests. I have also been to Zurich and Glenside because there are
only a few photo volunteers in this area. Thanks for documentating
the Devalls movements. A lot of westward moves were instigated by
land grants. But you must have known that already

Thank you for the info and the permission to upload the photos.
If I see photos already uploaded by the creator of the memorial
I won't upload mine. I knew Elezar & Nancy were James' parents
but did not know Martin was his brother. I have the Excel and
maps so I knew that Martin was on lot 1131 but did not know
how he was connected to James. The requester is related to
Zillah
