Hi, Sue: I am not related to this family, but have been doing some research through the Roane County [WV] Historical Society. Suggestions: Please connect Matison [aka: Madison/Madson] #29329975 to his wife #29329960 at Clover Cem. He was b. in Roane Co. & died at Spencer, Roane Co., WV. Wife, Martha May Dilworth Damewood was b. in Jackson Co., WV & died at Walton, Roane Co., WV.
Do you know where their daughter Ermah L. Damewood [1907-2001] is buried? Thanks, Linda L. Cottrell-Liss at WVRoots@aol.com

|Donna Booze DiMurro||RE: James M. Damewood|
I'm talking about James McDowell Caldwell, married Frances Madora Damewood. Or Madora Frances. He was my great-grandfather and my grandfather was Shelby T. Caldwell, his son. Madora, of course was my great-grandmother. They are both buried At Mt Pleasant United Methodist Church cemetery. The dates are correct for both.
There are a few "James Caldwell's".
Let me know what you find out.

Hello. I was searching for Rosalie Lane and had a had time finding her since she is listed as Roseline. Is this her actual name or is this a typo? She is the first wife of Frank P. Lane also buried at Lynnhurst. After Rosalie past away he married my Great Aunt, Ruth Milo Jollay. She is also buried at Lynnhurst. I hope this will be of some help in identifying these people. If you need anymore information feel free to contact me.

|grovelady||Request for transfer|
I am the Great Granddaughter of Lucille Robinson Phipps(#30794730 at Lynnhurst Cemetary). I appreciate you photographing her headstone and posting, I just found it recently and it's the first time I've seen it. I would like to take ownership of her memorial, as well as that of her husband, William Phipps(#30794774). Someday, I hope to be able to visit her grave in person, but until then I would like to take care of it "virtually".

Thanks for looking.

There seems to be a mistake on the connection to the parent of Edna S Mitchell
[[Created by: Sue Reneau Damewood
Record added: Oct 20, 2009
Find A Grave Memorial# 43346394]]
that is the wrong Josephine.
Edna's father was Claiborne Sharp.
The Correct one is found here: GRASSY VALLEY CEMETERY
Josephine Raper Sharp
Located at Lovell Road and Kingston Pike
next to the Grassy Valley Church http://files.usgwarchives.net/tn/knox/cemeteries/grassy.txt
the line is very well documented because their ancestor is on the Chapman roll
I can send you supporting census records for the family and the connection to Edna I also have a copy of Josephine Raper Sharps Marriage license to Claiborne
I am in close contact with descendants of this family who pointed the error out to me

|Chuck Shoemake||Thena Barbara Shoemake Reneau|
Sue, Thena is my 1 cousin 2X removed. She was married to William Lafayette Reneau and they lived in Nacogdoches County, Texas. I've been researching the Shoemake, Pitts, Walters and Landrum families for over 25 years and have extensive information, including photos, on ancestry.com. I have information on Thena's parents Erasmus and Docia Pitts Shoemake. I'm wondering if you have any information concerning where her grandparents Elijah and Elizabeth Pitts Landrum Shoemake might be buried. Elijah ws my 2nd great grandfather and Elizabeth my 3rd great grandmother (long story). I think I have it narowed down to the Old Brister (aka Old Harmony) or Harmony Cemetery. Funeral Home records indicate that their son Ransom was buried in the Old Harmony Cemetery. Any info you migh thave would be appreciated. I can be reached either by the web site or email@example.com. Thanks! Chuck

|Sonya DeVane||Barton Scroggin Reneau|
Good morning...I was driving around my area the other day looking for some of my
ancestors and came across this little cemetery in Slocomb, AL; Geneva County. There were
3 or 4 unmarked graves and two headstones with Barton Scroggin Reneau and his wife
Margaret. I added their memorials to the right cemetery "Providence Cemetery".
Just thought you might like to know, especially with your name. I thought they might be
family of yours. Their memorial #'s are: 106495590 & 106495651. Just a little note for
you: This cemetery that they have on here "Providence" its exactly where they
say it is, but none of the names they have listed on here are there. The only two with
names is your Barton & Margaret. I spoke with the man that owns the property that this cemetery is on and he said that the church was across the street and burned down a long long time ago. Also he said that there was a rumor that a lot of graves that you can't see are all over his property....Have a wonderful day and i hope this helps you in search of your
