The memorial number for her husband takes me to another cemetery. What was his first name?

No problem! I am so happy that you contacted me because it makes me feel all my work is worthwhile. Keep watching. What other names are you looking for? I have photographed the entire cemetery but I work alone and I spend endless hours. But I'm on a break from F.A.G. because I'm also indexing the cemetery on CDS. I work back and forth but am only one person. If you have other relatives and know where they are buried( sec, lot, grave let me know. Thanks! Barb

I am a distant relative on the Jones side. I noticed 10/5/1899 was the same day Oval Jones died. Do you know if the cause of their deaths was tuberculosis? Just wondering.

Nichols area corrections
Bruce,
I don't mind getting corrections that improve the quality of the info on these memorials.

Thanks for helping to get the Forman and Platt lines more correct. I'm more interested in the Platt lines since the name Platt seems to pop up as a given name and even possibly as a Surname in families closely related to mine.

re: Edmund Forman
Bruce, I've made the corrections you suggested, added some more info, and then transferred Edmund and Sarah to you.

No, I'm no close relation that I know of, however if you have studied the families around that part of the river during that time period, you already know that if a family isn't directly related, they at least share some tangential relationship. Though I haven't fully discovered some of these relationships, I do know that the Platt name (Edmund's grandmother's maiden name) is closely related to a lot of the early families that lived in that area. THis is part of the reason why I decided to do a quick outline of that family which resulted in placing their graves on Find A Grave (if the graves were not already listed).

Thank you for the extra info, I had not fully discovered this Edmund's parentage, and had initially confused him with his uncle of the same name.

Rain Brings Rainbows
Thank you...
The Shaw marker photos you have provided on each of their memorial pages are so appreciated. They are family members of my husband's Shaw line. You
have provided personal pictures for a couple of them also which causes me to wonder how you may be related to them? I'm assuming these personal photos are perhaps news clippings but also photos which came from someone's personal collection family album. We would be pleased to know more detail about them! Also the photo of Truman Beardsley who is buried in Charles County, Maryland. An email with any detail you may have would be above and beyond expectation but a real gift to us. Thank you so very much...Merry Christmas!

RE: re: Children of Effie May (Broshears) Lynch
Bruce,

According to my Dad, his Aunt Grace moved to California. She died around 1970. I have not been able to find burial info, so I've not added a memorial here. Her son Glenn is still living, I believe.

How are you related to Grace? My Dad is the son of her brother, Orville Gilbert.
