RE: Denise K. Jackson
I should say tho that we can omit names of living when someone sends us an obit to post. There are several of us who will do this. I've also seen it on other member profiles saying they will do this. Tips: I've also put obit info in a list form, & I end with "Submitted by (member name) & their acct #, Edited by Donna". We have the option to edit anything someone submits to us. I also ask them for the newspaper name & date if not sent with edit req. Hope this helps.

Edits and links to memorials

I do not know what you are asking for in reference to this memorial? JFJN

I got the above message from you. I have added links to the EDITS tab of your FIND A GRAVE "homepage".

If you look at the top of this page where messages are left (above the block that lists all the memorials you have entered and sponsor) you will see an EDITS tab. If you click on that you will be taken to a page where all the corrections and suggestions are for the memorials you sponsor. At the bottom of that page is a "proccess all edits" link that will make all the changes in mass to all of the memorials without you having to go to each page.

This is a relatively new feature that FIND A GRAVE has added. These changes are added to this EDITS tab page anytime another person makes a suggestion or correction to a memorial on the first four types of edits for a memorial (name, dates, locations, linked parents & spuse). The bad things are 1) it does not allow you to add the changes to your own records 2) you get no emails to tell you there are this changes awaiting your acceptance and 3) you have to remember to periodically check the tab if you have a great number of memorials.

No problem. I debate to say anything abt findagrave rules. My intentions are always to send info in case someone might not know. Believe I should make it a New Yr's Resolution to work harder at not getting "sidetracked" & just add pics. Thanks for your kind response. Have a Happy New Year.

We'll figure something out, not a big worry for me, either. I'm sorry you are not doing well but praying you will have a lot more good days than bad days. Take care, and please stay in touch. Have a blessed Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the info. I know that you always do things right, that's why I got confused because we had never heard of a Peyton Cemetery. What do you suggest? Just leave it and cross-reference the two? What do you think is the best way to do it?

Peyton/Line Cemetery, Banks Co, GA
Good morning, hope you are doing well. Question: where did you get the info for setting up the Peyton Cemetery? That cemetery is across the road from The Line Baptist Church Cemetery. In the History of Banks County book by Julia Mize, there is no listing for a Peyton Cemetery, only The Line. Shows "old Line, white and colored", no mention of Peyton. I'm just curious as there seems to be some confusion. Thanks.

No! Don't delete the memorial. I am sure that you either had records or saw the headstone when you crested it.

Also, no need to transfer.

I just thought you might want to note the message from the photo volunteer. Since this is an infant, presumably the maiden name should be deleted.

Thanks for you response.

You might like to know that I requested a photo for memorial #53150781, with the following result:

Reported by: Pat Gillespie on Nov 10, 2014
General problem: I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave
Details: I could not find a grave for her. I looked all over again and where all the House markers and stones are.

Perhaps you could add a note to her memorial. Thanks!

Photo of Mary Margaret Murphy Brockman

I noticed that you have added a photo of Mary Margaret Murphy Brockman and her husband to her memorial. I was wondering if you are related to her?

She was my grandfather's sister and I have been trying to connect with some of her descendants, but I have not had any luck so far!

Thanks for any information you can provide.

RE: Coleman Covington Moores
I did not mean to offend anyone by posting his burial section & it was not something that I assumed was the name. It is the section that the cemetery named, is on the map of the cemetery provided by the cemetery & is listed in a published book available for look ups in the public library. However, I did delete it from his memorial. Please let me know if there are any other's that I've posted that you would like for me to delete.
