I deleted the duplicate memorial. Sorry about that. It was not intended, and I had no problem removing it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Best Regards,

You added a fantastic photo of Wilmer Eicke here

I was hoping you could add that same photo to his cenotaph in Pawtucket, Rhode Island?

Eileen Kortright
RE: Pvt. Felix W. McGlone
I also resemble Felix, as do my other 4 brothers, but 2nd oldest *really* looks like him.

I do have his death date wrong and I have no idea how that happened. I've fixed it in my posting.

His brother, Robert Duff, died less than a week and about 10 miles from where Felix fell. Robert fought with the Royal Scots and they're buried in different cemeteries. Not sure why I didn't put Robert's death up here. Need to fix that.
Thanks again!

Oh. My. Gosh.
Thank you SO much for posting the newspaper blurg and photo of my Grand Uncle, Felix McGlone.

I have very little information on him and to see his picture like that, well, it gave me a shiver. My mother was the splitting image of him, as is one of my brothers.

Wow.
