Anna B. Randolph and Andrew N. Westcott Northlawn Cemetery, North Adams, Hillsdale, MI
Hi Pat,
Both death certificates put the burials of Anna and Andrew at Pease Cemetery, so why are they in the Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams, Hillsdale, MI and not where they should be? Is there a mistake as to where the picture was taken at? I am just trying to wrap my head around this as they should be at Pease and not Northlawn is all. Please let me know your thoughts on this, I can send you information on them if you would like?

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 61632611
Thanks so much for catching this! I know Find a Grave has been messed up lately and others are finding their photos attached to pages in other states and on totally wrong people. See the forums here: http://www.findagraveforums.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2688931#Post2688931

I appreciate the heads up so I can fix this.

These Fragile Old Bones
Jeannieology
Pat,

I saw the comment you left for Jeannieology. Like you, she declined to transfer a relative's memorial to me. Looking over the memorials she has created, it appears that her only interest is in numbers. She does very little of her own research on the memorials she creates. She just enters basic information when creating a memorial, e.g. name on the headstone and date of birth/death, and then does nothing more unless someone feeds the information to her. I've also noted that it isn't beneath her to have memorials transferred to her (See Find A Grave Memorials # 66168267 and 27238457). Are they her relatives? Did she beg to have them transferred to her? We'll never know. Suffice it to say that Jeannieology has found a way to occupy her time in an otherwise drab little life.

Thank you so much for the corrections, all have been updated. Also thank you for taking the pictures and posting them so fast as I was going to take pictures the first week in May. I appreciate all your work and I think my fingers were not working the night I logged most of those entries. Thanks again, RLE

Re: John B. Bourret family
Pat,

Looks like no-one has ever created a memorial for both John B. Bourret or Rosetta A. (Finley) Bourret. Said parents of: John L. Bourret in the Bourret Cemetery in Gladwin County, Michigan. So, I went ahead and created them & link them up.

If you can help in anyway. Please, email me information at: tomdladner@yahoo.com I'm a Gladwin County wide Researcher & am with the Gen Society & both the Beaverton & Gladwin Historical Societies. Hope (we) can break new ground on this. Since, this is an abandoned cemetery. Note: Found a write-up in the GCR also on VELMA VERA MAE DOAN (6 MAR 1911 21 MAR 1911)

DOAN

Velma Vera May, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Doan, died March 21, aged 15 days of pneumonia. Services were held at the home, followed by interment in Bourret cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 4-6/1911 Column - 3 Page - 1.

Cathy Thomas
Simeon Sharp
Hi, Pat. Was at Sunset View Memorial Day, but did not find Simeon Sharp. I did find a Minnie I. Carlow Sharp and have added her to Find a Grave. The weather was kind of cold, so we will probably go back and look further - there were a few others we missed as well. I also had a request for a Sharp at Greenwood Cemetery in Red Cliff, Eagle Co., CO - could not find that one yet either (was a very difficult cemetery!). Hope to find this for you soon. Cathy
