Would you tell me where this grave is located in the Flynn Cemetery? I am trying to make a map of the graves in this cemetery and have not been able to locate this grave.

Thank you for adding the information... Anytime..

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.
Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273
This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.
Thank you for helping me to help you.

Yellowstone County has a great searchable Website for many of their cemeteries. It shows them only three lots apart, which may be a typo...so I changed the name to Lucy.

|Bob Carter||RE: Andrew Simmons father|
I did some more checking for you.
Andrew's father was Adolphus Simmons and he was married at at least twice. First to Julia Ann Hays (Hayes, born abt 1878) in Surry County, NC on 19 May 1895 and then to Mary Jane Whitaker in Surry on 30 Nov 1902 in Bryan Township.
The death record (on-line index) for Andrew shows mother as Mary Jane Whitaker, but Julia was his birth mother and she must have died between 1900-1902 since she is on the 1900 census and Andrew is age 2. So his actual DOB is not really known, but it would have been with Julia as his mother. See this link:
Hope this clears it up and I'm correcting my records too. Have no idea where Adolphus is buried.

I'm really not sure what the problem is, I have looked at it from every angle I know. I have contacted the big cheeses via e-mail to see what they have to say. I can still access the site just fine so I should be able to still send you out the invite. The site is free but I will need an e-mail address. You can send that to GrammieBright@Hotmail.com . Sorry about the hassle but I'm glad to know there is a problem.

Dear Deborah Dewey Gravett,
You are very welcome.
Appears to be pretty old, but I cannot tell age. I updated the large picture with what annotations I found on the stone - you have to click the picture to get the annotations to show, however. I also added a second picture showing the inscription detail.
I just recently started working on the Harnage Cemetery. The individual graves at findagrave.com for this cemetery are actually maintained by someone else, and so far they have not given me access to make changes. There are partial dates, wrong dates, wrong names, etc. which will eventually get corrected.
If you have any additional information on the Lowrey family I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to add it for you. Things like what the initials "J M" stand for, names & birth dates of parents, same for children and his wife (which appears to be "Susie Lowrey") and what cemetery they are buried in. It also appears that some of their children are in Harnage (haven't located Susie Lowrey memorial) but I have not established those relationships.

Unfortunately I don't know who the boy is in the picture. The note on the back of the picture reads "Aunt Mary Stevenson King and ?".
You might check with Dan Stevenson, who has a large number of the memorials for the Stevensons and the Kings on this board. He has pretty extensive knowledge of the Stevensons, might be able to identify the boy in the picture for you.
Good luck in your search!!
