Does who have a tomb stone? If there isn't a picture of one on the memorial, I won't know the answer.

Your Bells aren't listed in the Tallahatchie County Cemetery Record Book. I never knew any Bells when I grew up in Tallahatchie County.And since Webb is falling apart I don't know anyone there any more.
I'm sorry I can't help you.

|Larry Hart||Lawrence Bell|
Ms. Frona, A search of cemetery records shows no record of this party being there but a survey of cemeteries in 1994 indicates he is. A thorough examination of the lot and a large surrounding area turned up nothing. The same goes around other lots containing Bells. The only explination we can come up with is that at one time there was a temporary marker there and that is what was recorded. Larry

Frona, I have not done all the Cleveland cemeteries, but I have made a "dint" in them. I am not able to work in the cemeteries right now, but hope to get back to it eventually.

|Pamela Thompson||Gravestone Photo Permission|
I am happy to see that you photographed Maurice and Modine Alford's gravestones in Rhodes Chapel Cemetery, Houston, Chickasaw Co., MS.
I would like to add these gravestone photos to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Mississippi Obituaries, where their obituaries are included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/MSOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, I will add this to the photo caption:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Frona Carter
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Although I was raised in Calhoun County, MS, I have not lived there since 1955 and only visit there once or twice a year, so I have no idea who lives there now, except for family members. Sorry I couldn't help.

I'm in the delta and rarely get to Jackson. I'm basically housebound due to my health.
There are several volunteers in the Jackson area. If you can find the correct cemetery, just send a photo request and one of them should be able to handle the request.

According to the JENNINGS family history book this was John Henry Childs, who was married to Mary Etta Mann on 18 Dec 1862. Both are buried at Old Field Cemetery in Webster County. Their son John Thomas (listed as John Homas) is also buried there and I thought you might like to update the listing and connect them by Relationship.

|Shirley Kimbrell Williford||W. M. & Nancy Moutry|
According to the book, "JENNINGS The Descendants and Ancestors", was the son of William Moutry and Sarah Jennings and was born in FL in Feb 1854. He married Nancy E. "Nan" Arnold(born Mar. 1863 in TN) in Webster County on 19 July 1880. Nancy died 17 Sep 1917 and is also buried in Old Field Cemetery. I thought you might like to add this information to their gravesites.
