Mary Helen Macauley @Old Tacoma
Upon closer inspection of my photo on my memorial for her I realize I misread the day as 23 instead of 28. Otherwise all other information is the same except for the missing plot info, which I have sent to you as an edit. I think it more prudent that I simply delete my memorial rather than transferring it to you and then you having to request a merge.

Chris Kanaan
Macaulay in Markinch/Cupar
Hi Ian. I remember my trip this day, as the Markinch cemetery was an interesting one and also an abandoned one. There were Macaulay's in both Cupar and Markinch (less then 10 kms from each other in rural Saskatchewan). Kenneth Macaulay was fuond in Cupar, though he may have originally been sent to Markinch (though i doubt it because the cemetery is in very poor state.) The cemetery is literally in a farmers field without any roads going to it, hidden by long grass and hay as well as thorny plants.

Its possible they moved his plot to Cupar, though again, I feel this is unlikely as the graves there are not of recent times. Most those buried in Markinch perished in 1918 during the flu epidemic in North America.

So I conclude, 100%, Kenneth Macaulay's final resting place is in the well maintained cemetery of Cupar, Sask.

The captions with the pictures give good explanations, as well as plot info. They are in the 1940 census in Hamilton, Mercer County, NJ.

I also found a few Macaulays/McAulays/... at the "Eye Cemetery" on Lewis Is. You may have already seen them. They had already been posted by the CWGC when I saw them, but I added some photos.
