Re: Allen Towe grave
Ed, wanted to send you a belated thank you for checking on the grave of Allen Towe at the Peachtree Memorial Park. I guess no one ever got around to putting up a marker for him yet.

Thanks
Thank you so much for the transfer of the Chadwick's at Collins Hill Cem. It is a great pleasure to deal with someone that is willing to help family members deal with their loss the way you do. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. If only others on this site had the same kind heart you do, it would be a much better site. May God bless you in all you do!

RE: Photos of Robert J. Gibson and R.J.Gibson Jr.
No problem. I was saddened to see how young all of the Gibsons were when they died. I'm glad I could get the photos for you. Let me know if I can get any more for you in this area.

Howingtons at Old Suwanee
Dear Ed, Thank you for your dedicated work in recording memorials at Old Suwanee Cemetery. I would like to add family information to Lula and Major Howington. Could you combine what I have for Lula with your entry and let me add to Major Montgomery Howington? Would you consider a transfer, if they are not your relatives. They are my great aunt and uncle. Rainey at Duluth Cemetery
Do your know if there are other Raineys buried at this cemetery? I am looking for my Grandmother's Sister, Nebraska (Brass) Johnson Rainey and her husband, James Rainey. I was told by their daughter they are buried in the Duluth cemetery.

Thanks,

Our Whitaker Families
Thank you for the transfer
Ed, It's is always so nice to know that there are folks like you on findagrave. You might be surprised to know that there are those who won't transfer even if it's within the "guidelines". It's a welcomed blessing to be able to do research, then add bio's, and links. When having to deal with those who are obsessed with hoarding and control it is very unpleasant for many of us! Thank you so much!

RE: Robert Gibson Photo
There are only a few graves in that cemetery. I'll record that information the next time I'm in Bridgeport and post it here. Glad I could help.

Hi and good morning.
Correction made. If this is one of yours, or one you would like, I will be happy to transfer any in this cemetery to you. I was doing this cemetery while waiting for the grandkids to get out of pre-school. Back then I only put on data from photos, and I do not know what happened to the photo for this memorial.
Happy Researching, Bud

Linda Wallis
RE: Malpus, Molpus, Malphurs
Ed - Certainly Malphus is an old and well-known name here in Savannah. The problem with Colonial Cemetery is that it's estimated around 40,000 people are buried in it, most of them are under the city streets now. To make it worse, during Sherman's occupation, the Union troops desecrated the cemetery by destroying headstones and digging up graves looking for jewelry and other valuables. Not many headstones are left and some are so weathered, they're unreadable. The records are sketchy as well. But I'll be glad to see what I can find. Do you know your ancestor's first name and about when he lived?

RE: Chavers Family
I would appreciate the info on the Chavers. My e-mail address is on my profile. My friend and I photographed and entered all burials in Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Old Wildfork Indian Cemetery) in Escambia County, Al. It has my grandmothers sister Nannie Kennedy who married William Dave Chavers. You may want to look in this cemetery and follow the family connections with Wm Dave Chavers.

Thank you
Hi Ed.

Thanks for adding photos to the site. I actually have the entire cemetery recorded. I keep everything in a journal in my car but haven't finished entering the graves yet. I probably have 400-500 more entries to make. I will try and give that more of my attention very soon. I guess if I get the journal out of my car it might encourage me to work on it.

Are you originally from Duluth? How did you find findagrave? Through this website I have made a friend of some distant cousins I have never met. He also sent me census records showing my great-great grandparents. It's pretty neat!

Well, take care!
